Another one exposed. This is all BS. Daks record against playoff teams is 2-5,, end of story![]()
You do not know it yet, Tangle_Foot. Your life has changed. Sure. You have the soul of a Jedi, but you will be treated as a Sith for all your remaining days on CowboysZone. This is all BS. Daks record against playoff teams is 2-5,, end of story![]()
Sure he can. And another example that people only remember the QBs.So Marino isn’t ever allowed to brag that he was a good QB?
It's an example that (certain?) stats alone doesn't make you great or win super bowls.Mahomes that low is shocking.
Not really exposed, they didn't read the full title of the thread. Kind of like, well, you at timesAnother one exposed.
So tired of repeating this to the ignorant fans on this board. The defense played good in both San Francisco games where the offense and Dak choked. The defense played fine against Tampa. The only recent game they sucked was green bay. But let's be real here, the offense was almost as bad that game. The D has been awful in playoff games and rightly deserves to be culprit number one.
That said— Dak’s QB rating alone doesn’t explain the whole story. He has started slow in several first half performances and failed to score or sustain drives. This puts tremendous pressure on an already suspect D.
Throw in some horrid INTs (like his pick 6 against GB) and it isn’t just a bad throw or a turnover, it is absolutely morale killing and back breaking.
You just can’t do that. Far too often, Dak and the offense start slow and inefficiently.
Is he the main problem for a 2-5 playoff mark? No. But can he play a hell of a lot better? Yes.
Actually, that's wrong. Many of us have been stating that for years. There was no narrative change in that regard for many of us. Some won't acknowledge he's good at all though. That's only a vocal few. And I think Dak has turned that corner and we'll see in him a QB that won't start off slow in the playoffs again. It's absolutely true that his first half in most of his playoff games, he sucked. The rest of the team did him no favors either. Those reported stats? Came after the other team ran up the score and took their feet off the gas.So the narrative has shifted to “he starts slow in playoff games”
That’s progress.
Jerry LOVES a fan like you. Blind hope. Cognitive dissonance. Keep buying merch...I for one, believe Shotty will get Dak where he needs to be.
Garrett and McCarthy just were not his tempo. McCarthy was awful in post season game planning. *GB debacle* ...heeds the list
Garrett was puppet to just follow whatever fit the agenda.
lol a 2 yard completion doesn’t look goin on stats what are you talking about? On 3rd and 7 any QB can walk off the field witha 2 yd completion and the stats look great.
But I have to give him credit he used to try for the first and the result was a pick 6, so props for.that.
Wake me up when we're in the Super Bowl with Dak as QB or even losing a championship game for that matter.
He's developed into a great system QB.
Hey Sporty, Eagles love your green dissonance of pumping hope.Jerry LOVES a fan like you. Blind hope. Cognitive dissonance. Keep buying merch.
Oh you're seeing qualitative analysis and even some quantitative analysis of Dak - it's just based on insufficient, biased, poorly sourced "data". I mean QBR itself is biased. This is the qualitative data vs quantitative data argument. Quantitative data is data that focuses solely on numbers and stats. Qualitative data focuses on observation and experiential analysis.
So in this case quantitative data states clearly Dak puts up big numbers against playoff teams. Also in this case qualitative data shows Dak has poor starts to playoff games.
This research manipulation also happens to other parts of the team and not just Dak. In the Dan Quinn years we had a top defense as far as turnovers. That’s quantitative data. In the playoffs they played poorly, qualitative data.
This has been my argument for the last 30 years of who’s better Emmitt or Barry. Quantitative data says Barry was better. Qualitative data says Emmitt was better. Emmitt showed up in big games and especially in the 3 Super Bowls and Super Bowl runs. Barry disappeared in the playoffs if the Lions made it to the playoffs.
Ideally you want your players to excel in both aspects of research. Ala Emmitt, Irvin, Aikman. The best players show you qualitative and quantitative data.
What’s up with these fans who root for the Cowboys and pretend that Jerry loves everyone but them lol. Jerry loves you too lol.Jerry LOVES a fan like you. Blind hope. Cognitive dissonance. Keep buying merch.
I don’t remember you predicting he’d choke on this site……Oh you're seeing qualitative analysis and even some quantitative analysis of Dak - it's just based on insufficient, biased, poorly sourced "data". I mean QBR itself is biased.
I'm a pattern-seeking mammal. I predicted Dak would choke in the GB game and he went full on deer-in-headlights. As I said...a lowly mammal like me was able to predict the future. How?
Predictive analysis based on my eye test lol.
Oh is he another Eagle fan?Hey Sporty, Eagles love your green dissonance of pumping hope.
