wonder if he was done mowingI was in court once for a traffic ticket and there was a guy there who was being sentenced for his 14th DUI. He got it for driving a lawnmower on the side of the highway with an open container after drinking “about ten” beers.
I have a drink now and then but alcohol has to be one of the worst drugs out there.
Dead people don't sue.It was a jokey-joke, my dude. A simple Google search will find far worse mugshots that Romo's and James Brown. And why are we picking on dead people anyway!![]()
Not in the court of public opinion. It's usually guilty even if found innocent.innocent until proven guilty
In Milwaukee, yes. I don't think it's state wide though.DWI in Wisconsin? Isn't that a special award in Wisconsin where they give you the keys to the city?
I'm not making excuses for either of them. Stupid is as stupid does.DUI is typically how I’ve seen it posted.
Comparing college Dak to 40 year old Romo is nuts but you got it. Not arguing over who the dui king is….you got it.
OMG! Dude had the cheat code on life. Let's not feel sorry for him.Dang. That'll do it.
Young Romo was goofy and idealistic. Parcells kept warning him darker days were ahead.
Then he got punished by unfortunate gaffes - much of it him, a ton of it on others though - from which I believe he never recovered.
By 2012, when he said he "figured it out", he had convinced himself he was going to win a SB.
Then one day in 2016, it all went away when he got injured and Dak kept winning.
When he conceded the job he said he went to "a dark place". I don't think he's emerged from it the same if at all.
Or preemptive strike?Links? or is this just spreading BS rumors?
Why? So they can pay someone else more? Maybe hire one of the ESPN has-beens?The network could use this as an excuse to get out of that big contract.
Bad decision to drive, Tony.
It does not take much to fail a breathalyzer. 2 drinks could even do it.
Unless you don't drink at all, everyone here has probably had 2 drinks and gotten in a car thinking they are just fine. Maybe did not even give a 2nd thought.
Not at all saying that is what happened here, btw. This was probably more than that
A limo full of women if he wanted.no they don't.
But he could afford an uber, of course.
Lawyers will advise you not to submit to any sobriety test. Now it comes out that he refused to take a test after he was arrested.
I was giving him the benefit of the doubt but this is starting to look a little more like he was driving drunk.
My son-in-law's sister was killed by a drunk driver with three convictions for DUI.
The devastation this has on a family cannot be measured by bystanders on a football form that have not experienced it.
That said I will wait for the rest of the facts but if it comes out that Tony Romo was driving drunk I hope he's strung up by his test tackles
I think the privilege to drive should be permanently suspended. Now it comes out that he refused to take a test after he was arrested.

He's always been polarizing.I don’t know where Tony is at as far as his announcing I personally think he’s fine but has the network fell out of favor like some fans have?
Just because I've done stupid things doesn't make it ok.Funny but most people on this site at one time or another have driven after having a drink. Do be so quick to judge.
Let the one that has not cast the first stone.......and here come the fireworks.![]()
I heard he got crap for predicting plays. Could be he doesn't prepare as hard.Thought he was doing some bottocks but maybe it is alcohol….I’ve heard people say his announcing has gotten worse I personally don’t hear it but if that’s the case maybe there is a issue.
Apparently it's the same thing in Milwaukee. So he was performing surgery?
Assuming he did it, he has a problem.the real question is this just a stupid mistake or does he have a problem?
I don't know what he refused. Blood test, breathalyzer? If it wasn't alcohol, why refuse a breathalyzer? I don't know what they look for with the blood test. I don't know that we'll ever find out.we don’t know. The official police report hasn’t been posted online yet.
The arrest log only says OWI, failed field sobriety.
Not charged with open container either.
The reason some speculate that isn’t wasn’t alcohol is because of the timeline.
The golf tournament ended around 4:30PM. Then the trophy.
If he left at 5PM, he only had 15-25 minutes to drink. Stop to get gas, smash a few cans. Then drive.
The bridge he was pulled over on at 6:18PM is about an hour away.
Given his back problems, he may have taken a muscle relaxer or some sort of pain meds before the drive.
Nothing illegal, as he would have been cited for it.
Looks like Eli during a game. You think it looks arrogant? He just looks drunk to me lol.
