Few tidbits from the video:

  • Barham with great 1v1 coverage in open space for the PBU on the first play of the video.
  • I’ve never seen a player go through more numbers on one team than Malik Davis. He’s worn 34, 21, 43, 23, and now 20.
  • Cobie Durant is a dude. I think folks were thinking he was just an afterthought free agent pick up, but he’s an additive piece to this secondary.
  • LB Logan Patterson (#47) just doesn’t look like he has the requisite athleticism to play at this level.

I think there will be some really good competition for WR #5.
Will it be so good they keep 6 WR's. Maybe not, as they would need to go short somewhere else for a player that most likely is inactive every week.

In no order for WR #5
Mingo, Holden, A. Smith
Scantling, Mims (if either really has anything left)
J. Smith, Hudson (I seen a few fans high on him), Brown (seems to be doing well in camp)

I wish I could give you multiple likes for this. This is the best video I've seen including all the media and content creators. Great job!

If Barham can cover it changes the entire landscape of the LB depth chart.

I don't really think that first clip means much because the challenge is more about whether he can get depth and play in space, but it's a positive sign at least.

I CB personally wouldn’t even count Turpin in the depth chart. Beyond the top three I’d personally go Mingo at #4 and maybe Holden at #5

There will be lots of competition for snaps after JWill this year.
Yep. Just wish I knew why Izzy has bounced around so much. Physically, he has the whole package.

I will say that from what Ive seen of him is that he isnt a truly instinctive runner. Hes more mechanical.

And then theres also the mental part that we as fans have no insight to.

Because he is bad lol.

He's similar to Raheem Mosters in that he can be effective in a one-cut scheme where he can plant his foot and go. That just makes it very difficult for him to be consistently effective.

Nate said on a podcast yesterday that Izzy made a great run, then just a couple of reps later fumbled.

Might be one of those many guys who has physical attributes but just can't put everything together. There's some reason we're the fourth team he's been on.

Yeah, dont know much about any fumbling issues. If thats the case, then he wont play.

I did read that he wasnt very good in pass pro.

Guess we'll see soon enough.

Other observation about Barham, the play at 1:30 I think is the concern about him. He doesn't see anything and doesn't move lol.

I know we don't know his keys/reads in this call, but he bites the fake, then points out a coverage on a handoff? Not sure what he's looking at. He's a terrific downhill run-and-hit player, but what he does in space is what's going to make him stand out or not.

Watch like 4 teams on day 2 of next years draft take an undersized pass rusher and transition them to MLB if Barham sets the league on fire like its looking he very well might.
