Our first time to go against someone else not wearing blue and grey, I know these players have waited for this moment. What things will you be watching out for? 1. No injuries, 2. How the D will look against the Rams offense, 3. Who will be a player that is a backup that steps things up, and catches the coaches eyes??

1. No injuries
2. How the rookies and young players look in a competitive situation.

It’s important to remember in these controlled scrimmages, they are not capable of simulating real games. It can be helpful in measuring some players and how well people work together.

No injuries or embarrassment.

better communication. some physicality. no injuries

Overall when we scrimmaged them last year they stomped a mudhole in us. I want to see us at least be able to look reasonably good against them. There is no win or lose but look like a team that has it together on both sides of the ball.

I'm looking to see how well the defense seems to operate. I personally don't think they will show them much of anything as far as stunts and schemes. I think it will be very vanilla. So I just want to see how well they communicate, if they seem to be in position, how well they stay w/ their man in coverage, how well they switch off and pick up, how ell they hold the line and close on the RBs etc...

The only thing that matters...NO INJURIES.

Physicality in the trenches on both sides of the ball.

I'm wanting to see attitude with the entire team. Especially on d. A chippieness. This is the time of year when you develop team belief, an identity. I'm looking for guys playing with a sustained nastiness. High effort is great, but without purpose and belief, and instincts, none of it matters. Gimme guys with attitude and physicality. Let's see it boys! I'm tired of hearing about the datgum Rams. Seems like they been pencilled in already as the conference champs. It sickens me. Only thing that sickens me more is any other team in our division getting that kind of luv, plus the image of Jerry Jones and Deputy Dog aka Stephen Jones, giving a presser at Oxnard as if they understand football on the field. Lord Almighty.
