while his pass blocking was going downhill fast, his run blocking has not been as good as it had bee either.

I don’t expect a fourth round tackle to ever see the field after the Ball and Waletzko situations. Realistically, they can only hit on OL when using very high picks when other teams use less.

Ferg was top 10 in routes ran for TEs, top 3 in snaps from the slot. Number of opportunities certainly wasn’t the issue.

Well, I would assume we'd design some things if needed to help him or get Dak out of the pocket. That's not ideal because you have to take away from other aspects of your game to do that, but we did have one of the top performing offenses last year with him out there and helped Javonte have his best season in a long time. I'd prefer we get better, but it is what it is. I don't think we can expect that at this point in his career.

If he stayed in and blocked so much than how come he set a career high in receptions with 82?

You can't run strong side you got problems. Sign Becton and put him at RT. You need a RT to run the ball see Rayfield Wright, Jim Cooper, Erik Williams,and La El Collins.
