Florio's suspecting a Crosby to Dallas trade during the season

If you can trade for Crosby and get 3 seasons of high level pass rushing from him, its worth it. The only concern would be the knee. Is there a legitimate injury concern going forward?
Depends on what the Cowboys have to give up. I'm not in favor of giving up multiple first round picks for him

What's interesting is NO ONE is shutting it down........not the Raiders, the Cowboys or Crosby. Remember Parsons was traded one week before the season started last year.

It would NOT surprise me if we already made a trade offer ...........

Well there is this that makes you wonder. Yeah could be cuz he don't need preseason but could be cuz they gonna trade him too.

I believe Our own doctor said the knee didn’t check out, I don’t see us making this trade and certainly not for what the raiders want

IF we could get three years of near the top production from Crosby, he is worth a 1st and something else. Not two of them though

One thing we all need to remember is this:
Dak probably only has about that much left as regards top production and ability to play a full season.
and thus we must make the most of it
so planning for this year and two more is sensible.
IF YOU REALLY WANT TO WIN A CHAMPIONSHIP
unless you have a ELITE YOUNG QB, three years is the most you can keep a team together.

Stop wasting our draft picks on players on the downside of their career.
I will never understand this idea that draft picks are worth more than an All-pro proven player. Even if you only get 3 great seasons out of Crosby for a late 1, isn't that worth more than a Taco, Mazi, etc? Or even a 1 that semi-hits? Yes, I know it's a bigger cap hit but, in this league, having proven, premium talent seems to be worth alot. If I'm not mistaken almost every team that's made a deep playoff and championship run has been insanely aggressive in Free Agency and with trades and relied alot more on the proven talent market than just hitting on draft picks.

All that said, I'm so sick of Jerry waiting to do this stuff. Maybe you can get him for a 2 instead of a 1 so waiting could be worth it, or maybe there's something about his salary that makes it advantageous to wait, but we've seen how so many of these seasons come down to winning or losing 2-3 coin flip games that Crosby could make a difference for. I'm tired of being put in these scenarios where we have to win 6 of our last 8 to make a run because we threw away 2 games early in the season. We start right out of the gate with 2 divisional games. Waiting is dumb if he can get in camp now and develop in Parker's scheme.

Crosby is a legit 3 down edge. So he's not some Robert Quinn or Parsons do or die pass rusher* ithink Parsons was fine as a run stopper but cheated at times.
He can get TFL on run plays and terrorize the QB.

If the price is reasonable, I'm all for it.

Didn't the Cowboys just recently trade away an "All-pro" proven player for draft picks? One that has been considered the best at his position?

Yes, and then immediately used those draft picks to trade for other All-pro players they could fit under the salary cap. Micah wanted so much of the cap that it wasn't worth it for one player, and he was a bad teammate relative to the contract he was demanding. That is not the case with Crosby, who is also a better all-around edge than Micah was. He's not going to have teams running at him on purpose.

Furthermore, it is irrefutable that the Cowboys trying to build primarily through the draft has completely failed and that the teams who have made and won the Super Bowl are insanely aggressive trading away draft picks for proven talent.

dumb reasoning

Having Ware and nothing else did not get it done, right?
Having Parsons and nothing else also did not get it done, right?
