Quinnen is infinitely better than Micah. That alone wins the trade.

How so? We got Quinnen and Clark also solved a huge problem.

Quinnen is arguably the best defensive lineman in the al NFL, and Micah is a pass-rushing specialist who is gassed by the third quarter.

Too bad we don't have both... I'd rather have poured money/assets into having those two together (assuming they would have signed Micah early/cheaper)...vs just laoding the hell out of skill positions on offense. (that said Pickens is my fav receiver love that guy, lets see if they pay him).

How it was a loss for the Cowboys? If we had Micah right now hurt we’d be screwed.

But they were 7-10 with Micah and 7-9-1 without him.

It was the right trade for us. I didn’t like parsons long term health prospects and lo and behold he gets injured. I’m not sure he will come back 100% and I suspect he gets another major injury before that gargantuan contract is up. Not wishing it upon him but we could already see the wear and tear taking its toll.
Adding Q and Clark was a big win. Losing a passrusher like Micah hurts bc the OC had to account for him every play. But then again, we got bulldozed in the rushing game over and over.
Obviously we won’t get anything close to Parsons passrush but if we can even be halfway decent at pressure but stuff the run and control the pocket it’ll be a big win for our d.
So we traded one problem on the D for another but fixing the center front of the D has long long been overdue and kept us from advancing more than lacking a passrusher.
