Absolutely not, keep churning the QB position until you find a potential starter. Milton might turn out to be one.
Yeah, there's that. Has a starting QB played in the preseason since 2016? Don't think so. But there's always week 1 for an unfortunate mishap....Wont happen ...... Dak does not play in the preseason like Romo did.
(I'm just kidding......)It sounds like you don't think he can be a quality starter someday. If the coaches feel the same way, then absolutely trade him if you can get great value. Howell is a decent backup. Personally, I would lean towards keeping the guy.Joe Milton’s stock has never been higher.
He’s obviously a super talented player.
If a QB needy team wanted to do a player trade would you do it?
A Corner or Offensive Tackle on a Rookie deal or a affordable Vet who is above average?
I think I’d pass because QBs are so important but if you’re wanting to go all in then that’s really going all in.
1 more corner on defense would be huge for this team too.
I agree for the most part, but have you seen some of the QB's starting right now? To be fair to Milton he's never been seen as a bad player, just a really gifted guy who needs development. Don't think for a second a team like the Browns won't be stupid, because they're notorious for it.Milton is still unproven.
They can't get a starting caliber CB for a guy that had 4 good quarters of preseason games.
This is why they need to keep Milton and Howell.Recent Even Years for Dak Prescott

- 2020 - missed 11 games
- 2022 - missed 5 games
- 2024 - missed 9 games
- 2026 - missed ? games
In fact, may want to carry 4 quarterbacks ...
- Don't count on it
- My reply is no
- My sources say no
- Outlook not so good
- Very doubtful
Yeah people are bugging. Let’s remember he had an actually good regular season game under his belt before we traded for him. I don’t believe preseason improved trade value.Milton is still unproven.

Yeah, the OP left out that detail. For two 1st rounders? Hells yeah. For a 4th rounder? No way.For what? You’d get a mid or late round pick for him unless there was an injury and someone was DESPERATE.
from the looks of it he is developing nicely so NO!Joe Milton’s stock has never been higher.

Well... yeah. When you have a luxury (like we do at the QB spot) you try to make up for a deficit. I think we definitely can trade Milton for a Right Tackle for instance. We don't have a Right Tackle.Of course you would want to trade Milton. Wouldn't want to make your boyfriend feel threatened, right?
You keep Milton to eventually replace your hero. At least that's the hope.
So, you're saying you wouldn't trade him. He’s more useful to us than a 3rd round pick.
At this point is only accept a 1st.
So, we have room for Romo?? LolRecent Even Years for Dak Prescott
