Jerry's comment about looking at other rosters to fill our roster holes is a proper action in my opinion. There isn't room on some rosters for some very good talent. It only makes sense that they get another chance somewhere else. Jerry sees the same weak spots on our roster that everyone else sees. It makes sense to make those weak spots better with the talent that didn't fit on other rosters.

I take Jerry's statements with a grain of salt. He may or may not be active in seeking help. If he is, let's hope he seeks help and advice from Will McClay first before actually signing players. Of course, there are others we might believe could help if serious considerations are forthcoming. Let's wish him good luck in the meantime. There are surely some candidates who might be worth what they need to sign.

I get it…im actually in the camp of being very happy with the FO in the last 12 months - the turn around on this team from a talent and coaching personnel pov has been great…now if it translates to performance on the field I think the whining will subside (some)

They only have 2 six’s , the fourth fifth and sevenths are all gone…so very little to work with past the 3s round

Well, at least they seem to know that some additional help is needed, although talking about it and actually pulling it off are two different things.

We are talking about someone who is capable of playing both tackle spots and has some NFL experience. Should be doable.

That's about all you're going to find and even that would be slim pickings if it even exists.

I'd say that I have the feeling the Cowboys might do something big this next week.

But it's probably just gas.

I dont know that there is a big move out there for them. There are some decent RT's on the market, but most would be later round compensation. If Pittsburgh is really looking to move Porter, I dont think the Cowboys are going to be in on it

I read it. Thats why I said what I said. You are aren't clarifying anything. You re interpreting it to fit you're own belief.
