2027 Dallas Cowboys Draft Picks (following the Broderick Jones trade):

Hopefully we trade some of our bubble guys for some late round picks. I’m not a fan of the trade today. That’s my knee jerk reaction and hopefully he plays well enough to change my mind. But not having draft picks in a loaded draft is not encouraging.

I think it is more likely that Pickens stays with the Cowboys.
I think he will, too, unless something bad happens with him this year. I think we tag him and then work out a deal before the tag deadline. He'll end up among the top five in pay for receivers and some fans will lose their minds over it.

Moving back a few spots and giving up a 6th is hardly what I would describe as "empty out their draft capital" at all.
A round is not a few spots, unless the Steelers are one of the worst teams, and we're one of the best. We have only 4 picks, fewest in the league, and a 1st rounder that will likely be a late first rounder. Almost certainly the least draft capital of any team in the league, other than the Rams.

Could be 15 to 20 picks. Big deal. You would rather go naked at tackle.

We suck at drafting after round 2 or 3 so no worries. Sometimes we get lucky but not usually. Gimmee pick one and 2 and trade the rest for players that have already made the cut list on another team, then try and get a UDFA steal.

2027 is looking like a rough year for drafting o_O
Why does everyone do this Lots of teams trade away their draft picks or their draft picks don't workout you know the New England Patriots 2024 draft they don't have a single player still on the team Oh wait they do his name is Drake May so they have one player,

Ask the Rams who've traded away either the player or the draft pick from the first round the last what 10 years they don't have that much respect for draft picks more than they can for trades and bringing in players that have a better chance..

Want to do the whole 31 other teams before we go with the Cowboys and see what everyone's drafts look like the next two years because it seems fair to me if we're gonna rag on the Cowboys like we really need that many draft picks if they did what they did this year to improve the team we won't need that many draft picks..

By the way lastly and I'm gonna say this for everyone not just you,

If you don't think George Pickens is being traded I'd say there's a 95% chance he's gone and guess all the compensation we're going to get by tagging him again helping him find trade partners And if he's as good as everyone in here slobbers over you all think this dude's better than Lamb i've heard that in here that he's the new number one this is a top five wide receiver in his prime,

Tell me all the draft compensation we're gonna get for him and then I'm not worried about it I really am not you you guys just never are happy you're worried about draft picks you said you don't do enough to improve the team this is a long shot that they just traded for but it was a position of need and I'm sure that Adams and Schott Heimer along with Mcclay went to Jerry and said we need this guy We think we can make this guy work as a swing tackle and they did it now we're getting complaints about draft picks stop worrying about next year..

You build every off for this year only you cannot think about years ahead I thought that that's what you wanted Dallas to do stop thinking about two or three years from now and only think about this year and that's what they're doing..
