I don't think so in his case. At least for the most part. Sounds like his primary competition is Steele, so he should be able to focus on RT. But, normally, you'd be right lolHe's in Dallas we LOVE POSITION FLEX!! Lol he's doomed
Well Schotty has made it clear he was brought in to compete for starter. Not just swingSo the swing they dealt for wants to play only one side.
Great.
Hopefully he's our RT next year, he's better than Steele. He had a pinched nerve, they did fusion, he can come back stronger then before.
If he's been playing or practicing here solely at right tackle and Guyton gets hurt, who is next up lol Jones will revolt lol lolI don't think so in his case. At least for the most part. Could come only to a place that welcomes everyone lolHe can’t block.
That’s why Big Mike wanted him gone.

And their fourth rounder will be here. He’s a FA next year wont be here but the 3 and 6th rounders will be in Pittsburgh next April .
Sounding more and more like they brought him in to succeed Steele, who will be the swing for the remainder of his contract after Jones takes over at RT. Clearly won’t be straight away though. So the swing they dealt for wants to play only one side.
Great.
Outside reporting assumed it was a swing tackle. So the swing they dealt for wants to play only one side.
Great.
Ummm, I am no doctor, but I believe you are underplaying just how serious his major spinal fusion surgery was a;n. The hope might be that he can regain full health, but to suggest he will be better than ever? C'mon, man, this sounds as serious as the one Vander Esch had and both play high impact positionsHopefully he's our RT next year, he's better than Steele. He had a pinched nerve, they did fusion, he can come back stronger then before.
He came into the league raw. Started out at left tackle. Moved to right tackle partway through his rookie season. Moved back to left tackle before his third season. That's not a lame answer for a player that needed technical work to begin with. He's been in the league for 3 years this is a pretty lame answer.
Eh. "I can't be a swing tackle" is a dumb thing to say for a guy at this point in his career, whether there's truth to it or not.He came into the league raw. Started out at left tackle. Moved to right tackle partway through his rookie season. Moved back to left tackle before his third season. That's not a lame answer for a player that needed technical work to begin with.
Moving around is not easy for every lineman. Go back to 2020 when Dallas had to play Zack Martin at tackle for a short time out of necessity. He looked completely out of sorts and he's a Hall of Fame level talent.
