He’s a great player but we have slightly worse edges Crosby would make a much bigger impact imo.
You mean once rhe Raiders have paid him some game checks? When they acquire him in season they can
The players don’t decide whose contracts are restructured , the team does. And if you are talking about re doing the entire contract , nobody on the team has done so.In my honest opinion.... Dak should have been the first one to somehow renegotiate his contract and free up even more money. I can't tell another man what to do with his money, but Dak is already set for life and if he wanna really compete for it all and remain part of a highly competitive team to help him cement a real legacy, he could help bring in more talent teamwide by freeing up some of his salary.
Correct. This is designed to allow them to make a move in season , based on what some of the local beat writers are suggesting. I don’t expect a move to happen nowYou mean once rhe Raiders have paid him some game checks?
The trade deadline is after week nine. Each week knocks off ~$1.7m, so yeah, if they waited till then they could get him for around ~$15m

It also might not be about saving money. Maybe the Raiders want to play one game see how they feel about the team first before they make this trade. Not saying this is what is happening just saying alternate view point of it.You mean once rhe Raiders have paid him some game checks?

The reality is that Dak giving back money won’t really move the needle. In my honest opinion.... Dak should have been the first one to somehow renegotiate his contract and free up even more money. And if we’re 3-6 they can just quietly not make that follow up call to VegasCorrect. This is designed to allow them to make a move in season , based on what some of the local beat writers are suggesting. I don’t expect a move to happen now
We hear this all the time but the reality is that Dak giving back money won’t really move the needle.
First, only two QBs have ever actually given away money. Brady and Rodgers. A couple of others have built their deals to have incentives that lower the AAV, but they end up getting it all anyway.
Beyond that, ay Dak gave the cowboys $10m and was paid in the Daniel Jones/Kyler Murray range. what do you think Jerry is going to do with $10m? He’d probably jsut keep it and roll it over.
What would you do with it?
We’re not bringing in an elite player with that. You’re looking at a mid-tier starter.
If you were Dak would you decide to pay out of your pocket for Maliek Collin’s or TJ Edward’s?
Oh, raiders are gonna suck. It’s their first year in yet another rebuild. Maybe 5 wins. They would privately love to trade Crosby and stack picks and cap room for next off seasonIt also might not be about saving money. I understand and normally Id agree. But im of the mind *** them picks if it brings a game changerI hope he does not use 2027 draft picks
I though about him too. Not the gamechanger id give up capital for. When they acquire him in season they can
So they can get Maxx now. Quite easily
No, that was the only reason they did it. Those are automatic thingsIt is but this isn’t the only reason why they did it.
