What if Dak has a Matt Ryan 2016 year

Just stop….a Super Bowl victory is a team achievement not a QB achievement. Sam Darnold isn’t the primary reason Seattle won.

The vast majority of this fan base know that Dak ever getting a team to a SB is highly unlikely. Much less winning it. Of course, there will be people like you trying to spin it but folks who understand can't be deceived.

Now if Dak were to actually EARN his accolades, fine. That doesn't mean hitting wide open receivers because he has two #1's. That means threading the needle when the coverage is there & a play has to be made. That means not turning it over. It means doing all the things top level QB's do to elevate everyone around them. Not just riding the coattails of others.
You do realize Pickens was not considered a top receiver before Dak?

And he's getting more opportunities taken away here by another top receiver. In Pittsburgh, he didn't have this problem because they had nobody else to throw to.

Even when he's had had Lamb eat away at more of his targets here, he's still greatly increased his numbers. What could the reason for that be? Pickens took a hop and ride on the magic bus?

Could it be he finally has a Top 5 QB throwing to him?

It will mean that they put so much talent around him that he was able to ride that talent like a typical bus driver. Most likely ending when he needs to actually be a difference maker.
You mean like Matthew Stafford or any other SB winning qb?

So here's how i see things:

I know it feels like Dak will never reach a Super Bowl, but I say..... it feels like it won't happen until it happens.

Numbers and esteem in the league would say Dak was better regarded than Ryan before the landmark Ryan year.

New coach, new defense, new system, new ideology..... you never know. And if Terrence Steele is the weak link, make a trade mid year.... give a needy team something they want we have more of for a Right Tackle.
And he could get injured in the first game and be out the whole year
Just as likely

But we know how the game goes the Qb gets the credit and the blame. Hurts and Dardnold don’t because people refuse to to change their opinion on them. They believe they stink so they don’t want to give them their due. But both made key throws and and passes on those runs.

Its kinda funny that we have gotten SO used to being irrelevant in the playoffs for so many decades, that the OP makes a comparison of Dak to a guy that went to 1 SB and lost it.

Like...."imagine guys....imagine if Dak could do what Matt Ryan did and actually get us a silver medal loss in a SuperBowl !!! How glorious would that runner up trophy be!!!"

The fact that Dak is not in Matt Ryan's class is irrelevant. If we're going to make up fantasies, can't we at least play make believe with a QB that actually WON a SuperBowl?

No. He was always regarded as a high level talent. Like everyone else, he looks better when on a better team. He doesn't have a top 5 QB throwing to him now. LOL. If he wants to thank anyone it should be CD and a running game.

Your above theory is full of more holes than a piece of Swiss cheese does, please stop while you have some dignity:

1. Mitchell, Ruddie, Russ, Kenny and Justin- Yes, those are the QB's GP had for him in Pitt
2. Michael T- Yes, the defensive HC that GP had for him in Pitt
3. You have it backwards re. chances with Lamb- GP is getting more open looks due to Lamb being on the field
4. The highest-ranked O the Steelers had in GP's time there was 23rd, lol
5. To even remotely suggest GP is having success just because of Dak is nonsense, inflammatory, and just smells of a lack of understanding of how the forward pass works

This might be the worst take you have ever had in here

Dak is second tier.
10 years in, he's 2-5 in playoffs.
That's it. Let us Luxuriate in his tier 1 stats, because that is all we have.

Doesn’t matter who I take. Stafford is a great qb. I just like how yall pretend like his Lions years didn’t exist and use the excuse of “bad front office” as if Dak and Romo had the Pats front office or something lol. Just delusional.
And in comparing both ... the bottom line is ...
:)

It's what happens when someone has their head so far up Dak's butt they lose the ability to form common sense and reason.

I wonder who @Yobwocs will latch onto next when #4 is finally gone. She will have to find a new victim to stalk.
