TNF from Down Under: Rams vs 49ers

Usually watch football for two reasons
Watching the team, I like win
Watching the team, I don’t like lose
I’m torn here. I don’t like either team.

Stafford picked. Lawd. Teams might want to start playing the offense a little in preseason games lol. Give the starter some live games to get back to form.

I’m getting nervous about Sunday night. I haven’t seen a good performance by a QB so far from 4 teams and almost 6 quarters. The new practice rules and not playing in preseason (while I 100% support it) doesn’t translate to great performances in September.

The running game is a lot less complicated,
Timing with your wide receivers it’s gonna take till game three

They don’t look that crisp. Though only game 1.
It's week 1. Outside of that 1 pick, their offense has looked fine. And will only get better once they move past this goofy Australia game. They have weapons all over. And that's not even discussing their defense. Super Bowl favorites for a reason.

Might be the best receiver in football
Fifth round pick
Remind me again, what round we took Brown in
That’s right wasn’t drafted
Just goes to show you
What’s problematic about drafting Wide Receivers is they are not a position you can typically find in the middle or late rounds. Sure, there are examples like Puka or Amon-Ra, but they are much more uncommon than, say, hitting on a running back.

History shows that 75% of all elite game changers at WR (~90/1,200/8) are drafted in the first two rounds, and about 15% to 20% of the entire elite pool are top-ten picks.

Day-three WRs hit at less than 5%.

So two top quarterbacks threw interceptions in their first game of the season tonight. I guess its not the end of the world when that happens, huh.
