Jaydon Blue voluntarily chose to forgo his Senior year of high school football because in his words "Football is a brutal sport, and the wear and tear associated with the RB position is undeniable." For those of you who can't read between the lines he's saying it hurts when I play football, so I'm not going to, and I'm a big ninny. Instead I'll show up to Austin with my burnt orange sense of privilege and only average 387 yards and 3 TDs a season over 3 seasons. Annnnddd I'll put the cherry on top of that with 7 fumbles. But hey, did I mention I was fast? Now, I can't block, don't play special teams (again it hurts), I'm not assignment sound, I've got no vision, no instincts, and I still fumble...but again I'm fast and have cool shoes. Put me in coach.

A point I've never been able to come to grips with. Who does that?

They are not better. Not even close, and you know it. Blue proved it during Arizona preseason game.

A preseason game versus the backups on the worse roster in football is proof lol?

I don’t think Blue is terrible but the league obviously thinks he’s a fringe player. He’s a PS player at this point and that’s the fact.

A finesse RB who’s a poor pass blocker, has ball security issues, and is a non-factor on special teams is rarely considered a “good player”.

Blue had one shot last year in the regular season against the Giants and delivered. I think they gave up on him a tad early.

He had all off season, training camp and preseason to earn a spot on the 53.

Clearly the staff wasn't impressed with him.
