Outcoached across the board. The scheme CP put in is just absolutely awful. He’s no better than Eb. Either use the money you got to trade for players that aren’t completely trash or just tank for picks.

Dak only averaged 5.1 yds per pass

when was the last time two teams were a combined 17 of 22 on third downs

Lesson.....The offense needs to score around 30-35 points, play flawless, and then hope to stay in the game.

Good thing we stupidly traded one of our first round picks this year when we should be in full rebuild mode. Should have traded Dak and Lamb last year too. Of course none of this matters as long as the Jones family lives.

This! It's why I've been banging on about the contracts and lack of performance. It's more wasted time. This is a patchwork slop.

No season will ever change until the JonesBoys are no longer involved in the football guy stuff. They are anti-Football guys. It just can't ever work with their way of doing things.

A real HC is needed here. They also need a leader on defense. I’m not certain if this D can be fixed. This was probably one of the worst offenses they will see.

When Dak can't beat the Giants, that's probably badddd omen.

Could be another long year, as CP and Schotty again try to figure out how to instill discipline, physicality and creativity out of both sides of the ball.

CP needs to get way more aggressive on 1st down, which is what I THOUGHT we were going to see. He talked a good game. But this was not a good showing. Having both safeties back 10+ yards off the ball on almost every down, that is NOT the answer. I saw a few plays of deception, but not nearly enough. It needs to be EARLY, because you must get in the QBs head in the 1st quarter...especially these younger QBs.

I was hoping for the best, CP, but this was my fear....this may be a bigger job than you can handle. We don't need more Bend But Dont Break schemes, we need intention, deception and cleverness.

Good luck, you're obviously going to need it.

Lets be real.....no one would hire our coaches except Dallas..

it's only one game, one ugly, penalty ridden, bad decision game.

Having the offense get only 2 possessions in the second half is an embarrassment. That might be worse than what we saw last season.

The way the Giants controlled time of possession, we just couldn't afford any misses on offense. The dropped passes hurt us in this one, as did Dak's interception. Even the deep pass to Lamb that would have got us a quick score would have helped, but Dak made a poor throw.
