Our newest additions to the defense contributed nada tonight. Our DT's got bullied all night. Our LB's are still small and got bullied. Our secondary let Nabers eat in his first game back from major knee surgery. Schotty needs to stop being a players coach, this team lacks discipline. Maxx Crosby is not going to save us. It is what it is.

I don't get it. How do you not show up for a big season opener? No pass rush, no coverage, so-so blocking, dropped passes, wild interception, special teams errors. What the hell? At least compete. Can't stop the run. Opposing receivers running wide open. Defenders getting ran over. I'm so sick of this. Make a damn effort, guys. I knew it wouldn't be easy, but this is so disappointing. I think we may have lost it on the first drive when we didn't go for it. It was early in the game, but it showed a weak mentality. This was one of their easier games they will have this season and they just laid an egg. I'm disgusted. I hope they give me hope next week. This is bad.

Q Williams hasn’t done much since we traded for him. Wonder if we should’ve used all those 1st rounders on draft picks. The Giants drafted multiple studs over the past few years, including Abdul Carter and Arvell Reese. Philly did similar a few years ago with Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis. If we trade 1sts, we better get stars. Our best defensive player last year was Jadeveon Clowney who we got for nothing (and gave away for nothing).

My concern with CP is that he never seemed to stay long at one job. His longest stint was 2 years in Denver. I think that is problematic. Is he leaving or getting fired? There's no way to get good at a job if you are bouncing from place to place and learning on the job.

A complete and utter embarrassment, the coaching was pathetic, started by not going for the 4th and 1, the defense was as bad if not worse than last year with their inability to get a pass rush, couldn’t cover anyone, the penalties, unable to stop the run. The ridiculous penalties. The giants were so much more physical. Their inability to get a stop. There is zero optimism nor should there be. I want to give the giants credit but seeing players running wide open is just unacceptable. The stupidity from the team continues which has never stopped.

I mean we saw a lot of teams that weren't supposed to lose actually lose the first week ? The difference is I saw them play with determination, that was missing from the Dallas Cowboys today !! The offense played well enough to win but not when you only get the ball twice in the second half
