Guy is a hard player. That is not what I am talking about.

But just a great example of the players on this team be undisciplined and making stupid plays.

Not only does he waste time by slowing down going in for a sure TD when we can use all the time we can get to try and make a come back....

But then to double down on the dumbarsery and do the taunting move.

It was just two things on that one play but with this team it is just a culture and stupid moves that add up in a game and season.

So aggravating

yeah it apart of the argument of when Dak said finally I’m not the only adult now. Ceedee constantly dances on the line of taunting. Playmaker and Dez wore that jersey and were very passionate and demonstrative on the field but Ceedee constantly toy the line between being passionate/excited and showboating/taunting. And he’s suppose to be one of our leaders like the previous wr’s who wore that number

This team is the opposite of the parcells teams
Those teams played with discipline and high football IQ
I think it’s a matter of culture
When the GM is not accountable for his sorry performances
Why should the players?

Taunting and wasting time when you need every second. I’d bench him for a quarter send a message but our soft team won’t do it.

I still can’t believe we didn’t get Derick Henry a season ago over 6 million dollars. He would transformed this offense. Imagine trying to stop him and a guy like ceedee (not sure we have Pickens if we get Henry)

But we’d control the clock again like we did years ago

I heard on the post game if Williams doesn’t go brain dead and cause a 48 yard extra point which gets missed if he simply scores goes to the bench Schottenheimer was going for 2 there ? Really why .

Cut him....Send a message

You know Jimmy would...Hell I would. I could find a RB with a bad knee....

To make up for not going for it 4th and inches in the first quarter.

It was a dumb decision, no doubt. I think he was trying to spark the team and respond to the Giants attitude, but it was the wrong thing to do at the wrong time.

Nothing was working last night and the team was jittery and off. Glad we are at home next week lol

What? All I have heard over the past 6 months is how different the culture is and how much it has improved.

It ends up being just another example of "stop buying into the hype".

Here's another good exmaple:

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me 30 times, call me a Dallas Cowboys fan.

Once again, the Cowboys and their defenders rolled into a season insisting that this was The Year, that Dak Prescott was in his prime, that the newly retooled defense would complement an explosive offense, that the highest of hopes were now in play.

It all sure seemed like awfully big talk for a team that finished 7-9-1 last season. But Prescott sported a Super Bowl XXX shirt — the last time Dallas won the game — during training camp this summer, and team owner Jerry Jones left no doubt about his expectations.

"Contend for a Super Bowl," Jones said earlier this summer. "Those are the kinds of things that I don't believe are … outlandish or a reach to expect."

OL didn’t play well more of that than J Williams problem other then of course the horrible taunting penalty which the NFL seems destined in a physical violent game to concentrate on it’s just like this league .

Parcells took a very pedestrian team to the playoffs.

With Quincy Carter at quarterback.

Parcells was an excellent coach.

I think what benefit Parcells brought was accountability, focus and actual experience as a HC.
After years of Gailey and Campo running the team along with Jerry's coddling, Parcells was one of the ideal guys to correct the course.
The team wasn't very talented overall, but they bought into his wants, and eeked 10 wins out of team that wen 5-11 3 years in a row.

Of course, I think his schemes were stuck in the 80's and 90's, which hurt a bit, but the "culture" he changed was big. If only there wasn't a fumbled snap in Seattle, what could of been.
Maybe he doesn't retire that season after that heartbreaking loss. Maybe we win a postseason game, and build on it etc...
Wish Romo got a few more years under his ability to ground players and don't let them get too big in the head.
