Maybe next year but trusting the signal caller role to a rookie whose never had this type of responsibility, in a brand new defense is asking for trouble.

It is just stunning to me that our owner uttered the words "Super Bowl" during the offseason...and uttered them again this week after Sunday nights game. I have watched a LOT of the film...and shout out to all the content creators that put in the time to make this stuff available to us...the film is a horror show...that will not get "fixed" to compete for anything serious this year. Success this year might be ending the year with guys knowing what their assignments are and getting to the spot and executing to some degree. Not sure how many wins that translates too...but this defense can EASILY get exposed by ANY coordinator that has a pulse.

Rookie Troy Aikman was thrust into the starting role game 1. And on a horrendously untalented team. We’ll find out pretty quickly if Barham is NFL material or not. There’ll be mistakes but does he learn from them and progress? My concern is Jerry rushes to reward him too soon, trying to get a “deal”.
