What are some of the most obscure Cowboys jerseys you’ve come across IRL?

Saw an Eddie LeBaron throwback at a thrift store DC earlier this year, kinda wish I’d grabbed it but was a little too pricey for my liking. Also found 3-4 Tashard Choice jerseys here on clearance once.

Thread is inspired by a current quest I’m on to find a vintage Jimmy-era jersey to wear on gamedays. Triplets are a little too cliche, was thinking maybe a blue Ken Norton #51?

Anyway, what are some of the more obscure jerseys you’ve encountered?

Have not really been anywhere to look.

I did donate my old Dez Bryant and Terrell Owens jersey to an animal charity.
They were replicas. Paid about $60 for the Dez. The Owens was a gift.
They were a really nice made mesh type jersey.

I quit looking at jerseys and memorabilia a long time ago. Have a Marion Barber signed one somewhere in a box. Probably the last jersey I've purchased.

I have a blue, authentic TO jersey, autographed....to gus, the defender of the star! George Teague.....he did not want to sign it, but loved the BBQ, so he did it for me. I've posted as my avatar before

I never see jerseys around here- this doesn't seem to be a jersey area, regardless of team. Believe it or not in 52 years of being a fan I've never bought a jersey. Plenty of ballcaps, winter hats, tshirts, sweatshirts, coats/jackets, dog collars, whatever. But not a jersey.

Haven't seen any that I can remember but a few months ago I found brand new Brian Dawkins and Randall Cunningham jerseys with the tags and stickers still on them in the dumpster. Sold them on eBay for $375.

I never see jerseys around here- this doesn't seem to be a jersey area, regardless of team. Believe it or not in 52 years of being a fan I've never bought a jersey. Plenty of ballcaps, winter hats, tshirts, sweatshirts, coats/jackets, dog collars, whatever. But not a jersey.

A blue dog collar accenting a white jersey would be tastefully chic.

Top that off with a blue and white toque and you'll be turning heads everywhere you go.

I've never bought a jersey either in 32 years of being fan but I was looking at license plate frames last week on Amazon. I wanted to get one for this upcoming season because I thought this team was about to steamroll everybody in the in the NFC. Was I ever wrong and I'm so glad I didn't order it.

It would just invite abuse from coworkers too, good natured or not, and I'm really tired of taking it. We're viewed as the laughing stock of the NFL along with the Browns and Raiders. We are all wasting our time with this organization. The very best we can expect is a playoff win in round 1 and even that is a longshot most seasons.

Randy White signed an authentic helmet and about 12 minis that I gave as gifts. He also signed a white 54 jersey from my HS team. Never been good about framing or even taking pics. I have a Miller Lite sign that I had hanging in my bar that several of the guys signed one day, including Solomon Page, Larry Brown, Emerson Walls, Barry Foster and a couple more, I can't remember. I need to at least hang that TO, one...having George sign it was cool. He posted it on FB and Tagged me when we played SF a while back. That was awesome.

I found a vinnie testaverde cowboys jersey on clearance at jcpenney. Don't have it anymore but i always remember it.

Probably the weirdest jersey I’ve seen of any team period was a buddy of my cousin’s who, as a skins fan, got a McCloughan #53 jersey when he was the GM there… 53 being the # of guys on the roster that would be handpicked by McCloughan.

That fanbase more than any other has this weird saviour complex where they are always hyping up one guy or another as the solution to all the franchise’s problems… only to have it backfire and fail spectacularly.

Side note.. Russini first got her “reputation” a decade ago when Scotch McLoughan’s fiancée called her out for trading “favors” for scoops

I was in Nashville in 2014 when Dallas played there Week 2 (not for the game unfortunately) and saw a lady downtown wearing a Jeff Heath jersey.

This was the year after his abysmal rookie season. So I definitely think it had to be his mom or something. I don’t know who else would willingly be wearing a Heath jersey.
