Too early Ravens thread

I know we are supposed to enjoy the win and I am enjoying it.

That said. Ravens just gave up 24 and lost to the Saints today.

The Cowboys can win that game if the defense decides to play some football.

Was gonna start this. I don't see Jackson as tougher than Daniels necessarily. Better runner in the open field and he's a better, or more efficient passer. Daniels had some overthrows today. But he's not a superhuman.

You have to score on them early. That opening possession last week vs the Giants is not gonna fly. You have to go for every reasonable 4th down. Or the Ravens are gonna answer back, and game could get away from us fast.

If you make them not go to Henry by the 3rd or 4th quarter, Jackson has to pass a lot. That's where he might make some mistakes. Because as good as Jackson is, he does turn the ball over a lot.

If we did what the Bills did this week and score on 2 out of 3 of our first few possessions we have a serious chance. I don't see us stopping Henry. Today's game against the Saints is not a typical Henry game, but the Saints are improved, and their defense is better than ours anyways.

well that’s kind of my thought though. At a neutral site. Our offense can put up 30+.

It depends on how physical this team still is post-Harbaugh. I haven’t watched much of them to determine that. Physical teams are usually the Cowboys kryptonite.

This hasn’t been a good matchup for Dallas but I also didn’t see the Saints beating them…….in Baltimore.

I think New Orleans is a much better team than people think. I wouldn’t say Baltimore is bad because of the loss today.

Especially if Zay flowers is back next week this defense has their hands full. I can’t think of a single position offensively that Baltimore isn’t better at than Washington.

Another week where I suspect the offense needs to put up 30+ for a win.

Oh I agree. I think the saints are competitive.

I’m not even saying the cowboys are favored or should be favored to win. Just that they can. This ravens team isn’t a juggernaut.

How is it that we, the Dallas Cowboys, have such little depth and talent at the running back position?

We are the running back position

From Duane Thomas to TonyD to Herschel to Emmitt and everyone in between.

Jevonte Williams? He looks like a depth back - shared starter.
Maybe the kid from Atlanta gets in this game - Goodison.,
It’s just astounding to me that we’re in this position.
I mean, our offensive line is specifically built to run the ball down your throat, and yet we can’t get off the blocks.

They got both Henry and Jackson, Jackson will have like 15 yards a carry like Daniel’s did, hell Henry could have 150+ too. If we don’t improve our run D they could DOMINATE us with running.
