Dak is a greater QB than Aikman?

Dak would not survive playing in the 90's, Troy playing in 2026 in his prime would absolutely destroy defenses.
How would Dak not survive? I can see Caleb not he’s soft but Dak ain’t soft. Steve McNair would survive but Dak wouldn’t?

Isn't a speakeasy a 1920s gin joint that served hooch during the prohibition period?

Some of the Speakeasy crew said Dak was better than Aikman and Romo. Romo can be contested but to say Dak is better than a HOF, and one of the most accurate playoff QB in NFL history, is absurd.

Aikman was a far better college QB and pro QB than Dak. No disrespect to Dak, but "I know Troy and you sir (Dak) are no Troy Aikman.
Dak is not better than Aikman.
No way in bell.
Better than Romo. I say a toss up. Its 6 of one half a dozen. Of another. Take whichever

Most accurate?

61.5% completion
165 TD's to 141 Interceptions

Seriously?

Take away the rings and Aikman does not get close enough to smell a Gold jacket.

It’s pointless to try and compare generations. Troy played a completely different game than Dak.

Dak is playing against better athletes, Troy probably played in a tougher era overall for the qb position though.
and when it comes to stats, Romo was better too. But.....Super Bowls is what matters......so not even close

A lot more parity now, but Dak is a Super Bowl away from going ahead of Aikman.

He might come close to doubling Romo and Aikman in yards and touchdowns....those stats and records are gonna be used heavily in general GOAT arguments like them or not.

But yes, I get Troy was astonishing in those 2 SF games in 1992 and 1993, namely the first one. Those are coincidentally the games that drag Daks name down. And yes, I get that the 90s was a rougher period to play the position.

You can fairly say that about a lot of Hall of Famers. But fair or not, that's why they play the game. Not every QB is a Dan Marino.

I can’t say who better but i think Dak and Romo have similar success if they had Aikmans teams.
This is at the heart of most of these comparisons

If Troy Aikman was drafted by the 1989 Seahawks, his career would have been completely unremarkable. If Dak Prescott was a Cardinal, he wouldn’t have made it to his third contract. And if Tony Romo was a Dolphin he never gets his big break and likely is a career backup

Can Dak hand the ball off to Emmitt 30 times and throw a few 50/50 balls to Irvin while beating the bills by 40? Probably

If he was 5 foot 6 and had an arm like a girl he probably wouldnt either. What is your point? I know those 3 rings are a minor inconvenient fact for some of you Dak slobberers but guess what....they hsppened. If my aunt had a package...like I said..the insanity
