Schotty just said after the game it was a designed throw away. Terrible, terrible play calling.

Then why even run a play? Just kick the FG then. Running a play brought potentially bad things into play. Mis-handled snap and fumble and the game is over with no timeouts.

The game went OUT for me the last 90 seconds so I missed this ... in that video why does the ball look like it isn't snapped to Dak....looks like something AI would do.

Can't believe I watched this whole game on Paramount+ and the last 2 minutes I saw nothing...maybe it is better that way.

When Dak released the ball Pickens was not even a little open. Freeze it...

Dak didn't want to take the sack and Pickens was not open at all until after ball left his hand

That should have been the designed play, Pickens fakes inside and break to the inside pylon and Dak put it on the inner corner there where only Pick can get it. Instead he threw it 10 yards over his head.

DAL had a timeout. I would have run the ball. Worst case, they stop DAL, clock runs down, take the TO, kick the FG

It's putting a lot on one play though.

But even so, they could have run, clocked it on 2nd down and maaaybe had time for a 3rd down play.
