Jerry way overpaid for Bland…..Jerry has zero football knowledge. He paid Bland for the pick 6 year….dude doesn’t understand that luck was a big part of a year like that…tipped passed, right place right time, not necessarily because he was a lock down corner. We saw that the next season, he wasn’t a great corner the year after the pick 6 season….,and he STILL gave him a big contract. Most of us knew as soon as he signed him, he wasn’t worth it.

Man, I really felt uneasy about that trade when it happened…..dude was on a HOF pace….and we traded him because Jerry is a petulant, stubborn, egotistical clown. He was butt hurt because a player wanted to negotiate the right way thought his agent……and dumb Jerry was pissy about it….thats the bottom line in that case. The only way that trade would be good is if we got HOF production out of whoever we got in return, becasue that is what Micah was giving in pass rush.
