You don’t give up the draft capital for Jones and Porter and let them walk.

But let me inform you he's owned the franchise tag we are way past deadline he cannot be extended until after the season now they'll have a window of opportunity to do so before it becomes a free agent or tagged again so just in case you all are unaware of this you do not do knee jerk reaction signings you let these guys continue to prove their worth signing That's it Long working interviews this is a smart way to do it and anybody who thinks otherwise is not paying attention..

The tag is always going to be the most expensive option against the cap. It was something like $22m this year, whereas WR was $27.

We don't need to see bad pickings but Pickens is not worth what he's asking So what we need from him and his agent isn't that price himself out of Dallas I'll be happy to take a 1st rounder or a couple of twos and move on from Pickens if that's what they're doing if they're trying to over leverage themselves bye bye Pickens..

*** Tag and trade
*** Sign him to a long-term deal ( before free agency period opens )
*** Let him walk and likely get a 3rd-round comp pick
If I'm not mistaken, only 2-3 players in the entire NFL have played a full season on a second franchise tag. In other words, it's very unlikely........
