Eagles trade C Cam Jurgens to Ravens

Putting aside what that means for their season, that's quite the return for Howie on that deal.

Jurgens has been dealing with some injuries and was actually struggling a bit this year as they were moving OL around. A 2028 2nd round pick is quite the return.
I hate it but he’s great at his job. They will do the rebuild quickly.

How the hell did Roseman get a 2nd for a guy that has never been the same player since his back surgery????

Jerry, get on the phone, offer a 2nd for Mailata, move Guyton to RT where he belongs. That would give us a damn good o-line.

Jurgens likely doesn’t have many years left in his playing career due to his back issues.

I think he went out of the country to try some alternative treatments because his back issues were so severe.
Yeah he’s hanging by a thread. This would be like us getting trading Bland for a 2nd and 7th.

Eagles win this trade.

Are the ravens going move hm back to center after Philly moved him to guard.

Jurgenns was getting killed and scapegoated this week locally because they blame his critical false start for the loss to the rams

They are in full rebuild.
I was just gonna post that. Seems a little early to throw in the towel but I guess they know just how much Lane meant to that offense and are looking to sell off assets -- but selling off a 27 year old pro bowler seems odd.

Eagles are loading up on picks in the 2028 draft. They have the Pats #1 and now the Ravens #2.

They might be in the market for a QB if Hurts continues to scuffle and next year's draft is loaded with QBs. They may be stocking up on picks in the 2027 and 2028 draft to make their move.

He's battling injuries and there was a rumor he was considering retirement at one point due to the back problems. And he's struggled this year dealing with those injuries and a new offensive scheme. Throw in the Johnson thing like you said and they may have just said, if someone is dumb enough to give us a 2 for him, then let's do it.

Guyton is currently a top five left tackle in the league in both pass blocking and run blocking grades. Zero sacks allowed and low pressure rate. At this point, including college and the pros, Guyton has played more games at left tackle than on the right.

I have no idea where the "better at RT" narrative started and why so many people continue to believe it.

He played RT in college. Thats where it comes from. However people dont realize he played RT for a left handed QB, which is the same as playing LT for a righty
