Schottenheimer: We believe in what we're doing, the solution is in this room

This is the room he is talking about! We're so screwed.

Great movie btw

Cowboys coach Brian Schottenheimer when asked about potentially making any coaching staff changes this weekend: “I’m going to look at everything. I’ll spend countless hours trying to figure it out and getting a chance to step back, look at these five games, and see what we need to improve.”

On the plan moving forward: “This weekend is going to be a process. We’re going to go through the process. We’re going to figure it out. We’re going to watch the tape. We’re going to look at the stats. We’re going to look at everything and we’re going to make some decisions that we believe will give us the best chance to pick back up and play well next week.

“We’re five games in. Didn’t plan on being 2-3. Disappointed by that for sure, but we’re just getting started. There’s a lot of football left and we got to play better. We know that.”

So this is how coaches make their faces more desirably punchable

Just because you believe in it, doesn't mean it's right. I'm sure Marshall applewhite believed a mothership was going to beam them up and whisk him and his bunch up to the great outer reaches of the universe into pure Utopia. Yeah, that was a bad thing to believe in apparently. It didn't work out. Despite what we all witnessed last night, especially on defense since last year, why on Earth would they believe in doing something that fails time and time again?

Coach Schotty, "What were the hot reads in the passing game to combat or slow down the constant blitzes?"......"Why didn't we see any adjustments to the blitz in the 1st half toward a team that likes to do that?"......... "Why is play calling being second-guessed every game now?"........"Do you believe in our TE room?"......."What is Klayton Adams role?"

i hate to say it, but after last night i dont believe anything right now - i had given this team and process a lot of credit but what i saw last night was a defense that was beaten so badly at times and didnt know where they were, an offense with a QB that didnt look like he belonged in an NFL game (at times specifically when blitzed) and a coaching staff that was sub par

If anyone told me that after our 1996 Superbowl win we'd only win a handful more playoff games and not even compete in an NFCCG in 30+ years, l would have bet my entire life savings against it. The Jones Family Curse has trashed this organization and l see no relief in the near future.

The Dallas Cowboys as we knew it ended with that SB.

Has that not been part of the normal preparations for the week already?

Jerry and his boy are too cheap tightwads , so if it costs them $ they wont make any changes.
Shotty is too nice to fire anyone, and he may not have the authority to do that.
If he realized now that CP was a mistake, and told jerry he wanted to let him go, would jerry let that happen??
