This organization is so unlikeable

I honestly cannot think of one player on this team who would die for his mates. There is plenty of "talking" from ownership on down, but I can't really think of one guy who plays like he would go to war for the Star.

If I owned the team, I would find that guy asap

You've got to do the math before you call someone out like that. "Over 40 years" puts him at 1986, at the very latest.
I think he's smart enough to get it, plus like I said on the post, I was messing with him, not calling him out...

Truth be told......Cowboys are ratings.......SAS, Skip, and Speak Easy to name a few, have nothing more spotlighting than talking about the 'Boys, Dak, and Jerry........every chance, every day. And football intelligence is not required, only clickbait relevancy.

Yeah, I tapped out about 10 years ago in being a diehard fan. This organization isn’t close to worth the time or emotional toll in this short life.

I think a lot of us are smart enough to get what this organization is. I was really looking forward to this season because I thought we were an innovative defensive coordinator away and I was wrong about him.

Then the news comes out today that Dak got a poor guy fired for saying something that hurt his feelings. I'm leaning towards a boycott until we get a major culture change, and that involves a head coach with a backbone. Watching these games for the past 20 years makes you want to pull your hair out. Undisciplined, unprepared, unmotivated. I don't even enjoy the wins anymore.

I’ve been a fan of this team for over 40 years and I’ve never been more embarrassed than now and it has nothing to do with wins and loses.

No matter what happened on the field there were always players that you knew were good guys, played the game the right way and actually cared.

There is nobody on this team like now.

Maybe it’s a sign of the times and just the way the League is now but it’s quite obvious that the players don’t care about fans and, in fact, actually have disdain for them.

You have an owner who threatened to fire a radio host because he had the nerve to ask him a tough questions; this mindset has permeated down to the players. Two years ago, Diggs told a reporter “Deez Nuts” when his effort was questioned, and rightfully so after refusing to get his nose in there and tackle a guy running upfield, acting like a adolescent child. They drafted a DL who said that he didn’t even like football, he just likes to hit people. They traded for a guy, Gary, who after a game, is jumping around, swearing walking into the tunnel after finally making a few plays while his play has been pedestrian since he got here.

Then you have Dak. Here’s a guy who it should be easy to root for. From his meager upbringing, to his brother, to his injury, to being the starter of the Dallas Cowboys, it’s now obvious that he’s just like all the rest. While his play on the field has always been up and down, the one thing you could say about him was that he was a good guy,

Not anymore.

Leaving his personal life out of this, the idea that he actually told a security guard to get rid of someone who uttered the word embarrassing to him and actually stared the fan down while trying to be a tough guy, is just the icing on the cake. I get it, in the heat of the moment, directly after a tough game, you might not be in the best mood, but it didn’t stop there. He had time to shower and use time during his post game presser and actually went after the guy again; doubling down on his mistake. And add to the fact the organization obliged their pampered “star” quarterback, it speaks volumes of the culture rot imbued at The Star.

The whole team is full of bums, thugs, losers and quitters.
I agree, but I disagree that it has anything to do w/ the players. We have an FO that is not only incompetent, they are also arrogant and self-centered. Completely unlikeable.

None of the stuff you are referring to would be happening w/ a semi competent GM.

Thugs? What thugs are on the team? You guys love to throw that around loosely.

Funny you think this team is unlikeable but im assuming you had no issue in the 90s rooting for the cocky scum bag thugs who played for this team lol. There was no one more arrogant than Prime or Irvin. You just didn’t didn’t care because they won.

But hopping on a soap box because these guys are “thugs” or bums is silly lol. Just say you don’t like them because they aren’t good.
I agree.

I mean, this team is unlikeable due to Jerry, but the players have nothing to do w/ it.

You watch the games, you support Jerry.

That guy got himself fired. On the clock, representing his employer...he could have caused the employer to lose his contract and other workers losing their jobs. If he was just a fan, sure..but he was an employee in a restricted area. Dak was juvenile, but that guy made his bed. I don't feel sorry for him

When I travel around the US, I dont even tell people I'm from Dallas. Got tired of being clowned on for being a Cowboys fan.

Sure, you are working for a client and you don't want to insult them, but getting a guy fired because he said something you don't like while you make 60 million a year and he's lucky to bring in $25 an hour or around $40,000 a year is a scumbag move. It's beyond juvenile.

So dak specifically had the guy fired? Post your source....

I agree.

Yeah it’s a shocking take because I dislike Jerry so much and he takes up so much air and light you can’t even notice anyone else. It’s why I like those Cowboy highlight videos Jerry is never around those clips.
