This organization is so unlikeable

I agree it probably was just instinctive he couldn't hold it when he saw Dak.
It just came out like a bad free throw and he couldn't get it back.

But previously he had probably been stewing on it running all the horrible plays through his head and as soon as he saw Dak The strain was more than he could bare and he just blurted it out.

Funny part is this guy wasn't even a Cowboys fan and it frustrated him to the point where he had to speak out so you know it had to be pretty bad.

I guess it probably bothers some people how someone can absolutely suck that bad at their job and still manage to get paid in a year what a whole neighborhood of wage earners makes in a lifetime
I've never worried about another man's money, except when I negotiated my contracts. Lol

No matter what happened on the field there were always players that you knew were good guys, played the game the right way and actually cared.

There is nobody on this team like now. ...

Then you have Dak. Here’s a guy who it should be easy to root for. From his meager upbringing, to his brother, to his injury, to being the starter of the Dallas Cowboys, it’s now obvious that he’s just like all the rest. While his play on the field has always been up and down, the one thing you could say about him was that he was a good guy,

Not anymore.

Leaving his personal life out of this, the idea that he actually told a security guard to get rid of someone who uttered the word embarrassing to him and actually stared the fan down while trying to be a tough guy, is just the icing on the cake. I get it, in the heat of the moment, directly after a tough game, you might not be in the best mood, but it didn’t stop there. He had time to shower and use time during his post game presser and actually went after the guy again; doubling down on his mistake. And add to the fact the organization obliged their pampered “star” quarterback, it speaks volumes of the culture rot imbued at The Star.
This one event doesn't define Dak, but it was definitely not a good look.

And I agree with your larger point. I struggle to find a player I'm really rooting for.

Sure, you are working for a client and you don't want to insult them, but getting a guy fired because he said something you don't like while you make 60 million a year and he's lucky to bring in $25 an hour or around $40,000 a year is a scumbag move. It's beyond juvenile.
Carry it further. Every employee of the Cowboys has the responsibility of representing the team. He did not. I don't care how much he makes, he was dumber'n a post to do what he did and deserved to be fired.

What you're advocating is that employees shouldn't be fired no matter what they do.

We need more fans calling the players out to their face. Call it what you want. I don’t really care. But the people in the organization from the top down need to know how embarrasssing it is to be a fan of this team. Like people are literally not letting people know they are cowboys fans, or they don’t wear their cowboys shirt or hat out in public. Hahaha I mean think about that. The players and coaches and especiallly the Jones family needs to know that. Every time somebody sees the Jones in public they need to be bashed repeatedly. This stadium worker I say kudos to him! Why was he fired? I don’t get it. For saying embarrassing? Shows you how soft this franchise is
He was fired for conduct detrimental to the team. This is actually really obvious. Any employee that performs actions that could cost the employer money is usually fired.

I don't understand how some don't seem to get this.

Just proves how soft the people who run this team are

• Undefeated Regular Season: As a senior in 2010, he led the Haughton Buccaneers to the only undefeated regular season (10-0) in the program's history.
• Playoff Runs: He guided Haughton to an overall 12-1 record and a trip to the state quarterfinals in his senior year.
• District Championships: He earned district championship victories, including a notable performance playing through a sprained MCL in a regular-season showdown against rival Parkway High School.
And…???? Say it with me now….. he….. LOST in the playoffs

I’ve been a fan of this team for over 40 years and I’ve never been more embarrassed than now and it has nothing to do with wins and loses.

Maybe it’s a sign of the times and just the way the League is now but it’s quite obvious that the players don’t care about fans and, in fact, actually have disdain for them.

You have an owner who threatened to fire a radio host because he had the nerve to ask him a tough questions; this mindset has permeated down to the players. Two years ago, Diggs told a reporter “Deez Nuts” when his effort was questioned, and rightfully so after refusing to get his nose in there and tackle a guy running upfield, acting like a adolescent child. They drafted a DL who said that he didn’t even like football, he just likes to hit people. They traded for a guy, Gary, who after a game, is jumping around, swearing walking into the tunnel after finally making a few plays while his play has been pedestrian since he got here.

The whole team is full of bums, thugs, losers and quitters.
But your anger should be more directed towards our idiot GM who is 100% responsible for this mess.

Does that mean Brian schottenheimer should have been fired after the Ravens game because of his horrible coaching and clock management.

It was surely detrimental to the team LOL

You've only been a fan for 44 years? that's it? the back of the line is that way...

Shouldn't have been dumb enough to say it in the first place.
What's funny is the guy wasn't even a Cowboys fan.

And he had to know there could be consequences saying that to the leader of the team and I use that word loosely.

But it definitely tells you how bad the performance was when a guy just can't hold it back and has to tell the quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys how embarrassing he was.

If that doesn't tell you where this team's at nothing does what a joke.

The guy may have been dumb for saying it but in the end he'll be made out the hero and Dak will be slandered all over the media for being a punk and getting him fired.

The guy will easily get another job but Daks popularity just took a big hit with the fan base who is probably working guys that feel the same way it was a total embarrassment
