They’re not tanking. They are in a bad way. They’re not the first team to be this battered by injuries. It happens. They’ve had some seasons with comparatively few injuries in recent years as well.

Hurts must need blood thinners which can take many weeks to clear out of your system. He cannot play if he tests positive for blood thinners. He’s likely out eight weeks, at least.

I agree with you.

I do however think they are a better front office, and are not afraid of being irrelevant for one year, as long as they plan for the future vs the cowboys organization who is ok with mediocracy as long as they stay relevant during the season and make news (good or bad).

Heck, I've even read some articles where people think the iggles are going to trade Hurts which leaves me scratching my head given the fact that they made Hurts the highest paid player (at the time) 3 years ago. I doubt the iggles would do that, but... with them, you just don't know given their history, vs our own front offices history of riding a beat horse to death (be it players or coaches).
