So, everyone in the media and even players are saying how elite Dak has become, why wouldn't a team pay under market value now for Dak? Qb's are higher paid now... I think it's ludicrous to think there wouldn't be a team willing to take him on knowing that we absolutely suck in our front office.. I mean, we thought Dlaw and Ware were finished as well, but they went on to win super bowls and contribute...

I am extremely embarrassed that I fell for it. I NEVER do. But here is why I fell for it this time. The team finally addressed the holes on defense. When they made moves to shore up the middle of the defense....i had to applaud them. But there is ZERO salary cap on coaching. And Jerry has NEVER opened up his wallet for coaching. This was the time for him to spend for talent on the field AND the sidelines...his franchise is worth more than anyone else's in the HISTORY of the NFL...so spending the money should not be the problem

Bellichek was making 20 mil a year , and thats why they didnt even talk to him.
I read that rex ryan wanted to come fix the defense , but he wanted more than Jerry was willing to pay, not sure what the amount was.
This may also be why other coaches have passed on the cowboys.

JERRY wants them to work cheap and have little control, and he can talk all he wants about whatever he wants.
Jerry has billions, but evidently is such a tightwad he is just reluctant to spend a few million of it to have a top HC,
