Jerry Jones has an impressive lineup of guests scheduled to be at AT&T Stadium Sunday night.

The Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager said Friday morning that NBA superstars LeBron James and Chris Paul and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie will all be in attendance when the Cowboys host the New York Giants to open their season.

All three are self-proclaimed Cowboys fans.

“I hope to see Lebron,” Jones told the Elf & Slater show on 105.3 The Fan [KRLD-FM]. “I just wish I could suit him out.”

What position?

“Tight end,” Jones said.

With the Cowboys using more two-tight end sets, the idea of James on one side and Jason Witten on the other seems like a dream scenario for the 12 personnel package. It’s safe to say that Witten, James or Dez Bryant would be open on just about every play.

LeBron is too much of a wuss to play in the NFL. And I only used wuss b/c certain - harsher - words are banned lol

That might be a bit harsh, lol.. but i've just read too many articles over the past few years of him just acting like a complete *** during numerous public appearances.

I hear ya! He is a Cowboys fan, though, so he couldn't be all bad.

6'8 250+ plus, WITH pads is afraid to play in the NFL. Some of you (I'll refrain from using a harsher word here) over analyze plays you see in a non contact sport and it results in statements like this

Yea he's bigger than most football players lol. Its one thing to be jealous or have a hate for how good he is but its another to think he's a wuss. Unless they are confusing him with Dwayne Wade.

lol I'd like to see you call a guy with that size a wuss...basketball player or not: if you are that tall, weigh 250 lbs and only around 7% body fat I'm pretty sure that wouldn't be the type of person you'd wanna go running your mouth to

Didnt say he's afraid, said he's a wuss, not the same thing.

But I absolutely cant imagine a guy regularly going over the middle and elevating to catch balls and just get hammered regularly who has flopped for his entire career, despite having a huge size advantage on nearly every guy who tries to guard him.

Sunday night.

Chris Christie, never heard of. Guess you have to live in the south.

You act like there aren't 7 footers in the league who dont flop. But you've already said you cant stand LeBron, your agenda is clear and thus there's no reason for me to rationalize anything to you.

Our celebrity fans reeeally...suck. Aren't some celebrity fans like, Vince Vaughn, Spike Lee, etc
