Brandon Carr, Miles Austin & Anthony Spencer being sued

That article is whack. It even suggests they might be suspended or something over a private civil dispute. Why in the world would any of them miss any time over this. Sensationalist journalism at its worst.

Not journalists.

Bleacher report.

Like most blogs, fogging a mirror is the only requirement.

Not making the connection on how the players might be responsible. Yeah, 2 minutes of my life I'll never get back right there.

Would hope if they were running a football camp they had some sort of insurance policy in place

This lawsuit won't go anywhere. Some ambulance chasing lawyer somehow talked these people into filing a lawsuit in hopes of hitting the jackpot.

It won't work.

This will make players think twice about trying to give back to community

What mental anguish could of accured? Afraid to go swimming again? Because of this lawsuit football camps around the nation will probably be shut down

I wouldn't say there is nothing here. But naming the players as defendants is suspect. Still, its completely stupid to suggest this case will impact any of them on the field.

Yeah naming them in the suit is a complete reach.

The only way I can really see there being anything there is if these three players actually put on the Camp. If they were just paid to be there or volunteered, then I can't see how there is anything at all there.

It was originally Jay Ratliffs camp and they put Spencer's name on it after he got his DUI. So they were paid by the group putting it on.

Someone on dcfanatic's site claims that the numbers given aren't even accurate.

The reports of 100-125 kids in the pool is not accurate!!!??? I was there as a father volunteer at the time this happened. There was approximately 30-35 kids in the pool area and only 15-20 in the diving pool where he was pulled from. FYI?
