Manning had all rights to get upset as well

When you are the best player on the team, you have all rights to get passionate and talk how you feel.

There was a time when Ware, and Witten where the best, there where times when we would get our ***** handed to us, after having a lead. What did they do or say....nothing.

No passion, no nothing. Just a blank look......I mean when is enough, enough? When are you supposed to get mad, and show some passion?? Not everything can be talked nicely and smoothly. Not when the same movie keeps getting played.

So for Witten to yell back at the only guy who even makes us remotely dangerous right now, is ridiculous. He needs to shut up, and take a back seat....because if Dez goes down, I want to see if he is the guy what will catch jump balls in the redzone, or is a threat to score every possession.

race plays a part, and I'm really not someone who would normally say that

Brady whines like a child pretty much every week. But that's just "passion".

Yeah but so does RGOverrated and nobody says a word about it

Wonder how many negative threads and posts about these guys talents were started by their own supporters after they had a compassionate outburst during a game?????

Let's see - you can have someone like Dez who actualy CARES and shows some FIRE, or you can have some robots like we've had the past 15 years. Where's these robots gotten us I say?

Witten has always been a fiery, passionate guy. Im not sure where some of you people have been that you haven't seen him blow up before.. but until we know what he and Dez were saying on the sideline there.. i think its a bit silly to say either he or Dez need to "shut up". Sure, its easy to say as a fan, but in reality.. im glad to see that kind of scene on the sideline of this team. Things need to start getting uncomfortable around this team until we start playing up to our ability. I think its a positive to have guys shake things up a bit and hopefully wake some people up to start getting the changes we need to see.

The core on this team just has to know that they are so screwed here, they have seen it time after time, the pieces change and the result is the same. I am even confused as to what the problem is here but it has been happening since 2007

Dez will be unfairly compared to Owens because of this. He will be demonized as immature, etc.
It was the heat of battle. A leader emerged from the rubble that is our Dallas Cowboys. Now if only the sheep will follow we may get somewhere.

I admit that I was not a fan of Dez in the beginning, but his transformation into a grown man has been one of the positives about this organization to date.

Give me more Dez-like players and maybe we will see that 6th Lombardi.

I think a lot of people will say its different when your QB goes off like that, because he's the one you want to lead and inspire the team. Dez is also a team guy, always has been. I believe him and Romo when they say he's just passionate and not trying to be a diva. You need an emotional leader on your team. Dez is getting too much criticism, IMO.

Ray Lewis got away with it because he played for Baltimore and played on defense.

People are angry at Dez Bryant because #1 he is black and #2 he is a wide receiver.

The reality is the one who should have been yelling was Garrett. We have a coach who has no emotion. That would be fine if it worked, but it doesn't.

well, fwiw, im white and I was excited to see dez go off and rip on witten and the coaches and whomever else. bout time someone does it. If I want to smash my tv in week in and week out, the least someone can do on this team is get pissed and fired up.

It's not just white people calling dez bryant out and it's not just black people defending him.

I wouldn't say this goes as far as overt racism, but just deep seated racial stereotypes manifesting in how the situation is perceived.

If Romo or Witten had done this it would have been completely different, but Dez is seen as just some "uppity" young black man who doesn't know his place. If you check out First Take's impression of the brady argument, they all sided with Brady, and blamed the coach...

Dez Bryant is a top 3 WR in the league right now, and who are Jason Garrett and the Dallas Cowboys? A terrible head coach and an average team (and they're only obtain the level of average because of players like Romo, Bryant, Lee, Bailey, and now Harris).

Fans were just as angry as Dez probably across the board, Dez just isn't the person who they wanted to show passion.
