12 seconds left, and it is clear Dez’s head is nowhere in the game of football at that moment in time. We were going to have at least one more play, and possibly two but rather than plan for that, everyone has to console the man child.

Look, it is what it is. He has maturity issues.

Not sure how race is an issue here.

David Ortiz explains his source of inspiration for his dugout pep talk during the World Series last night:

"Bill Clinton, he makes a lot of money making speeches. And he changes a lot of lives with his speeches. I watch him. I learn. If you can get people to listen, they will react."

If Witten did this same thing, it would just be how much passion he has.

Yawn.

Sadly this is true.

It's just a perception that bigtime NFL receivers have.

If we weren't a team that chokes I would be upset with Dez. Since all we do is blow games and act robotic about it afterwards I support Dez.

There is no excuse to be 500 right now.

He would get blasted for blaming his teammates. Actually it has happened. What color is he racebaiters?

I mean, you have to admit it seems to be a race thing at least somewhat.

Peyton goes off.. no one says anything negative.

Dez goes off.. you got people bringing up his past, his background, his upbringing, calling him a diva, etc.. its a joke, imo.

Dez went off repeatedly. He even looked at the camera after a TD and said F Yeah to America.

Nobody has said anything about his race except those excusing his behavior.

If he got mad once then fine. When you are repeatedly freaking out on everyone while the game is still going on and people have to stop their jobs to calm you down and get back on the field that is immature.

how much is the rent in the dream world you live in?

I see you didn't refute my point just made a stupid and irrelevant wisecrack.

If Romo repeatedly screamed and flapped his arms at the end of the game yesterday to the point of having to be restrained, if he mouthed a F bomb to the camera, do you really think there would be no criticism of him today because he is white?

When has Romo ever gotten a pass because of his color?

Manning is a different analogy

We should rename this thread 'what makes QB great'. Its in their eyes.

if you dont know the difference between a QB and a WR, i am not sure i can help you

the QB position is different than any other position on the team, they get the accolades and the blame for the performance of the whole team not just their own play

Here's my lip reading:

Witten: "...then ******* go in/win/away. Then go in/win/away. Then go in/win/away ... we got two (timeouts? plays?) ... we got two shots? ... We got a/gotta play ... no look ... two plays? to go, come on"
Ware grabbed him, got in his space, and stared him down: "Hey. Come on, Dez. Keep your temper. Keep your temper. Keep your temper" To Witten: "Hey, I don't want ? blow up" back to Dez: "Dez ... ... ... for that... you are the ******* boss, you are the ******* boss. Let's go"

I didn't see much for Dez. There might be (to Witten) "man, **** you guys", "******* stop", "I'm tired? of it"

That seemed like a pep talk.

lol

Irvin did it all the time. Witten has done it for years.

The thing is.. none of us know what was being said like we did for Peyton.

So to speculate that he was just being immature is nothing more than an assumption by all of us, which is why i say race is a part of it, because you're simply guessing that it was just him being a baby or immature or whatever you want to call it.
