Auburn vs FSU: Who is your pick for the NC?

this is just what i feared will happen,Sec teams are just too good.
 
I think if anyone is a true football fan, they're watching espnnews.... they got a coaches round table who provide instant analysis of the bcs game as it is in progress.
 
I don't like either team but Auburn looks like they are much better prepared.

The Noles chant is so annoying. Anything to shut them up is fine by me.

I thought Manziel did a nice job on the pre game show.
 
It's gonna take a team from a REAL conference to beat the SEC! For the first time in a long time I think we can be that team next year!

I know Jerry has committed to Jason for next year and the hypothetical coaching search is off for those of you wanting a change. I have also rarely seen Malzahn's name on posts here calling for a new coach. I am not sure why not. You can say this an overreaction to the championship game but I will argue he is a winner. Two championship runs in his last three years at Auburn, once as OC, 2010 and once as HC, 2013. Lots of close wins against some of the best teams in the country with the team well prepared. The terrible year last year for Auburn (Malzahn was coaching at Arkansas St in 2012) and the championship game run this year proved Chizik was a fake and Malzahn was the true genius on the staff. The quick turnaround shows he is a great motivator and his offensive playcalling has a big impact. If Jason does not work out next year and a change is made, I hope this guy gets an interview as I believe he is a Chip Kelly 2.0, a coach who is not all rah rah empty peptalker but is a great football mind and excellent offensive tactician. Wish Jerry would be the first to offer him an NFL chance if the job is open after next season but we will likely be too late for him and his staff, which Jerry would never let him bring anyway, as he will be a hot candidate going forward anywhere, NFL or top college programs.

Seriously though, I have a huge coaching mancrush on Malzahn. And with him being an Arkansas guy, you know Jerry knows him well.

Plus supposedly he was recently asked if his offense could be effective in the NFL, and he said something like, "I don't see why not."

I would love to see Dallas be the team to take a risk and give him a chance but I just do not see Jerry giving up on Garrett unless the team implodes and if he does start a coaching search down the line, he is gonna look for a proven guy after failing with the Garrett project and go with a safe retread coach IMO.
 
I don't care about either team but it would be surreal if Auburn lost the NC because of a kickoff TD.
 
Auburn's cinderalla's season is finally over. I can't believe the defensive breakdown on that last drive.

I thought the Cowboys were the only ones who allowed that.
 
Watching this game from Coaches film room mega cast made this game so much better for me.

Auburn's defense was never that good. I'm surprised they didn't give up more. Frankly, I was pretty unimpressed with Winston.

But yeah, that was terrible tackling on that long catch and run. Two guys just let him run right between them.
 
Wow FSU is unstoppable. I don't see them losing next year either - Winston will only get better and he's already gotten through the hurdle of facing adversity on the biggest stage.

Auburn gave them the best fight any team could give them IMO, even better than Alabama. They're a team that has an identity and they will impose their style on you.
