***Official Draft Thread Day TWO***

I live in Tampa and I might just start rooting for the Bucs. Gave up a 3rd to their arch rival in one if the deepest drafts in history. Idiots. Morons. Incompetent.

We overpaid and helped out a division rival. Brilliant in a way only Dallas is capable of.

Can't wait to see who's still there at 47. Hopefully Washington does something stupid too.

Pete Prisco, who was one of the few people that were complementing our Frederick trade and pick last year said:
Great move by the Cowboys. I had a first-round grade on this kid. They need pass-rush help.

Just like last year, so many knee jerk judges....crazy.

We gave up pick 78 to move up from 46 to 33, huge jump that's practically a 1st round pick for #78.
Clearly, this was a DE we wanted all along and valued above all others after Clowney! Marinelli knows the DL.
This guy was targeted all along as before the draft, Garrett said where Crawford ends up depended on how the draft fell for us. All the happy faces in the war room indicate that a plan came together.

We now have Spencer, Mincey, and Lawrence at DE....we found our impact rusher. This puts Crawford at DT with Melton and Bass.

Have a little faith...we found two key players with huge upsides, and we still have 8 more selections!

I love it!!! Yes!!!! Excellent move up!!!! That boy Demarcus Lawrence is the real deal!!!! Jerry you are impressing me more and more!!

So fans are @ fault when trades don't work out now? They are the "professionals" but you seem to put the heavier burden on fans...

No I don't. Fans have no burden. Most just whine. We are drafting the trenches and avoiding iffy splash players, something most here wanted for years.

4.8+ 40 yd at combine
Community college
Suspensions galore
Trade with division rival
Lose 3rd

Jerry Jones everybody

See, things haven't changed. This is why I wanted Manziel. We should be entertained while watching a circus. Manziel would have been a side show.

Digging the player but not the trade. Now we are done for the day. I hate the new draft format.

I'm not at all happy with this trade. Jerry and gang are throwing away picks again. So we're done for the night. I'm guessing management assumes we don't need any more help. This bothers me very much and is the reason why we've been mediocre for so long.

Nothing changes in Valley Ranch. Can't stick to their guns. They feel compelled to follow up a good pick with a bone headed trade.

The hate is overwhelming. Go figure. Yet I just heard a Fox Sports affiliate that I am streaming live here at work say that Jerry and the front office are doing a great job. Building from the inside out. So far, from those who are fairly unbiased; they said we are having a great draft. I will say that Demarcus Lawrence will have a great career in Dallas. The draft ain't over. Let us not forget that we are getting Crawford and Bass back into the rotation. Not that that is comforting to some in here, but still very relevant. Happy drafting Zone!

The only three people I've seen so far who are making sense, have some sanity, and aren't freaking out.

They already did two years ago. One extra third round pick won't undo that damage.

I agree with that (trenches), just not the value in acquiring the second pick. If anything, it prevents us from adding additional help on the DL in the third.

Lmao at those that thought Jerry had turned over a new leaf last night. If you are going to blow the dike, do it at 16. Not with a lower class possibility.

What end would they have moved up for? Clowney?
