Seattle is winnable

Two words buddy...

ROAD GAME!

I'm assuming your positivity is coming from the Commanders game tonight and I must say, Seattle is much different on the road... in fact I think they are only a game above .500 before tonight on the road under Wilson.

So at home, they are the greatest team ever assembled, on the road they are barely average.

Any Given Sunday.. That's my chant all week, tune in....:starspin:

Worried about Lynch through the middle and Harvin on the gadget, but I like how our secondary has been attacking downhill and blowing up short passes. That's what you need when you play zone. Offense will be fine, legion of boom will not be themselves when they don't get the pressure they're used to.

Doug Free scares me in a game against Seattle. I can see Michael Bennett beating Free all day and Tony just dropping to the ground to avoid getting hit.

Bennett destroyed Free when he played for Tampa a few years ago.

If Watt didn't destroy Free maybe it's time we start giving the guy some credit.

Anyhow of course the game is winnable. Winning the game is another thing all together.

SEA's DL is deep and they're pretty good, but they're overrated. It's that secondary that makes that defense go. Though that Wagner's developed into a heck of a player, too. I'm interested to see how our second-level blocking looks against that DL and how Demarco runs if/when he gets past the LoS against those filling Safeties. Should be a great part of the game to watch.

Every game in the NFL is "winnable".................................its just a matter of doing what it takes to win, like not turning the ball over, no penalties, ect.....

To beat Seattle they are going to have to play a clean game, the question is will they?

I swear before I logged in I thought I bet the first post is we can beat Seattle lol

Free's playing better this year than a couple years ago. Plus he has Martin next to him so he's not as worried as players cutting to his left, just the outside move and a bull rush. And Murray is pretty solid in blitz pickup. It's no longer about one or two players anymore, everyone knows their role and just need to execute it

Yep, this should be a very close game.

Seattle does some things on defense that we can take advantage of. The first is keeping Sherman on the one side. We will be able to get Dez and even Williams on their worst corner, I actually think Williams and even Harris or Beasley can be successful against him. I also think that we can take Sherman out of the play by putting our lesser receivers out against him and having twins on the opposite side. Would love nothing more than having Sherman playing against Street who is running either 5 yd outs or flies all day occupying Sherman. Chancellor has looked pretty bad in coverage....so much of Seattle's success is based upon pressure from their DL. I think our strength just might be better than their strength.

On offense, I can take Lynch beating me, we just need to make sure Wilson doesn't beat us with his legs and his arm. We are going to have to play with just seven in the box and need a spy on Wilson. He is what makes their offense work.

Not sure some understand what it takes traveling to the upper West coast to play. Seattle can beat beat on the road but up there is a different story. So, they are on a short week, it won't make much difference to them because they are home. There is a difference in climate, time and their 12th man advantage.

If the game was in Dallas, I would think we can win but since it is there, we need to play a perfect game in all phases to do so. If I was the HC, I would have my team there on Thursday to get adjusted, they will need it.

I have flown to Seattle about 20 times and the next two days after are rough. It is a long ways from Texas........

We have a chance at this one but everyone needs to be ready to play with no turnovers. I hope the media says we are toast and given no chance, I would feel better about this game.

I am prepared for a loss yet hoping at the same time but I won't get angry if we lose as long as it is respectable.

I can't stress enough that a key will be if we get McClain back. It looks pretty questionable.

Tackling has really improved this year, and McClain is the catalyst. That tackling is key against the Seahawks. They rely on the running of Lynch and quick short passes with lots of YAC.

Sure and that was when Free clearly had not worked on his footwork and kept getting crossed up. If Free reverts to poor technique then yeah but that was three years ago at this point and not representative of his ability now.

I actually like the matchup of our interior line with their pass rush. Leary and Fred have issues with quickness but not power and Williams, Mebane and et al are more power guys. We shouldn't have an issue getting an extra OL onto Wagner. Bennett and Avril are good but not such that they will require double teams either.

I personally feel like almost any game in the National football league is a winnable game. Not that some teams aren't more talented but the bad teams need to be put away or they can steal one. The Cowboys are shaping into a good team with a defense that is suspect but tackles really well and coached even better imo. Healthly defense no mistakes football and Murray running like he can and we can win on Sunday.

I'm not gonna predict that tho. We are playing the reigning champs in their building.

Watt is a better player then Bennett and we handled him like a rag doll. .... hell even Romo shook him
