Cowboys have Trent Cole on FA wish list

Yeah. Leading your team to the SB isn't good

I guess Suh isn't a good player either

This idea that FAs aren't good bc their teams wouldn't let them go is ridiculous...

Denver didn't pay him for that, they paid Manning to WIN the Super Bowl. He, and the rest of the team, stunk it up. It was easily the most embarrassing Super Bowl I have ever watched, and I'm not even a fan of the team.

So yes, Manning didn't show up when it mattered. That's been the story for most of his career. Genius and innovative QB in the regular season, ordinary in the post-season.

Ehh I don't think so...Look at what guys like Lamarr Woodley, Justin Tuck, and Chris Clemons got last year. 3 years $15M is not out of line what so ever.

Cole has been a better player than those fools, with lesser talent around him.

For the right price, absolutely. Can never have enough pressure players, IMO. I think he's a better fit in 43 as well.

Hardy is the dream signing for me.

Translation: "If anything, he called Cole's agent (NFL source) who knows that we're desperate for pass rush and, at the very least, the agent wasn't immediately rebuffed by the Cowboys." Got it.

Sounds about right.

Okay guys, I don't know if they know anything behind the scenes or not but here are two names that
Broaddus and Helman brought up today on DC.com who might (might) be targets during the 2nd
week of FA. Broaddus stated that DL Tyson Alualu could definitely be a target and Helman
thought that Adrian Clayborn would get a long look from the FO who likes to bring in hurt, 1st
round type players for reclamation. Nothing concrete here, just DC.com coming forth
with names that they've probably heard bandied about.

I have.

7 sacks, 14 QB hits, 26 pressures in 834 snaps. BUT he only rushed the passer 76% of the time (keep in mind Philly made him a 3-4 OLB).

I could see the guy being a good pickup at a reasonable contract.

Clearly Cole still has some left in the tank.

Reasonable contract considered, Cole would definitely help, he would be much more effective at DE with hand on the ground.
