He was gonna make it but tripped on nothing and fell about half way there.

Guys in the locker room called Uncle Felix because he was a 21 year that looked 40.

I didn't want to draft him in the 1st that year since he was a scat back type rather than one who could take the load. But what happened to that guy. He started to look like he didn't want to be hit anymore but he never was used enough to be worn down like that. Similar to Julius Jones but at least he got hit quite a bit.

I would question anyone's eye sight if they questioned Felix's talent. Now his love for football and work ethic are a different story

I never got the hate for Tebow but like you I don't want him. But if Felix Jones was good enough to compete for a job I would not have a problem signing him to a team friendly deal. That is a big If. Talking about one former Cowboy here not multiple ones.

So much for you claiming to have me on ignore certainly didn't take long for you to follow up my comment with that shot. LOL We had several debates about Felix and I liked him early on he showed some real flashes with the limited opportunities he got. He had a terrific playoff performance vs Philly during the 09 season rushing for 148 yards but he started putting on weight and his performance fell way off. He wasn't even on an NFL roster last season so he's done.

I don't think there will be anyone at the veteran combine we are interested in. I could be wrong but this just looks like a made for TV event and the main purpose is to increase viewership in the dead of the off season.

Y no reason to hate Tebow but I never understood what any one saw in him. Jones was a disappointment for me.
 
Tell him to stay ready in case there is an emergency and we need quick help.

Other then that there is no way he should ever be on the roster.
 
Don't know what is funnier, the idea that he will show up in shape or that the Cowboys might be interested.

The train left the station and de-railed down the line somewhere- Nothing against the guy but I don't want him back here.
 
I was just looking at who was invited and saw a former Cowboy on the list and was curious what zoners thought of him if he showed up in shape and did well.

I will say we never got the "wow" long term but did see glimpses from Felix here and their back then.

After he gained weight he did slow down.

Felix was great if he was used for what he was instead of trying to make him a full time back. He was an excellent change of pace back. People must have forgotten how he averaged nearly 9 yards his first year in and over 5 his second year. I wonder how he would have done if he had this lone here. He would have been the perfect change of pace home run hitter to complement Murray.

As of getting him now? Nah, time to move on, but I won't act like the guy wasn't electric his first couple of years here.

I was one of those guys, but there was a time where ghost Felix existed.....and by that I mean when he ran threw the line so fast that the tv couldn't keep up and 2-4 Felixs where on the screen at one time. Knock me or Felix if you want but he had talent
