This is the offseason.. People will get signed that may not make the team, this is a good value move. His contract will probably be low risk and he may play well here. He played in Oakland, that alone says a ton..

Not everyone we sign is a DeMarco replacement, we'll be drafting a RB in this draft.

Bring him in, if he fits well, keep him, and if not, cut or trade him.

I like it. Williams/McFadden/Randle/Dunbar means we can wait until the 3rd or 4th round in the draft to take a RB.

All this means is those four players and a draft pick will be going to training camp. The best three will make the team.

If you think Murray and Matthews are brittle.. Darren McFadden tops them both. He's hurt on every play sometimes, guy can't make it through a drive.
