Looks like this may be one of the times I miss them as the closest they are coming is about 3 hours away. With Dave's voice being shot and Ed not the player he was in his prime this wont be hard to pass up even though they were a huge part of my youth.

What's the odds that it gets cancelled before first show?

What's the over/under for shows that actually happen?

How many issues will Dave have with eddie?

Blah blah blah.... They have drove me crazy over the years with their drama.

Michael Anthony booted for Wolfie years ago... Where is he now?

1. All of them will happen. Its only 38 shows, and money speaks louder than any quibbles.
2. Good question
3. Your right....There was been so much drama around this band. They USED to be a wonderful studio and live band.
4. Not sure. MA always struck me as the most sensible down to earth member. Wolfie on the other hand loves Twinkies.

I laaughed....

There is no way of knowing about #1
Money hasnt worked before...lets see. Like you said they are done. I would rather pull up a youtube video of band in their prime.

Ask and ye shall receive.
Im going to choose to remember them like this..........
All swagger.
All attitude...
Backed up with actual musical chops and a great pair of leather pants.

That is great video!

Whats funny is he and Randy Rhoads were out about he same time. I think he started pinstriping his guitars to do opposite of Randy's polka dot design lol

Makes me wonder what was in the water in the LA area to churn out so many great guitarists. It would have been mighty cool to be a kid back in sunny southern CA and see RR and EVH in a little club before they broke it big.

Not coming here. Not completely disappointed. Most of their live shows left me disappointed. Which really pissed me off because I was a huge VH guy back in the day.

Michael Anthony is currently playing bass guitar in Sammy Hagars band called Sugarfoot

who knew there were so many amphitheatres and pavilions? kinda sad.

Bahaha! a show every other day for three months for a group of elderly men. What are they going to do, play a live recording and lip sink and play air guitar?
