"Since training camp started, there have been many things happening with the Dallas Cowboys. There have been players emerging as starters, injuries and of course fights, but the biggest one that seems to have the media talking about the upcoming season is injuries. These injuries are really nothing more than minor things that happen in football, and the media making it seem like Dallas’ season is over are way off base."

Just my thoughts on the matter. As always, thanks for reading

I feel the same way. Most of the these players especially veterans whose isn't in their first rodeo will come up with any excuse to miss practice/preseason games.

Just the nature of the beast these days.

Maybe its being on the east coast, but i didnt notice any perception of a crisis.

I agree, I think thus far we have been fortunate. Last year Lee was gone for the season before we even hit training camp. Bumps and bruises, strains and sprains are going to happen. Thankfully we have the chance to allow these guys to sit and heal. Guys like Martin is not trying to make the team, him missing some time not a big deal, same with Beasley or Dez

Same here. I haven't been getting that vibe, although I certainly could've missed it, as I don't pay particularly close attention to the mainstream media football coverage.

They're just looking for any reason to shelve important players, and other injuries have been relatively minor.

Smart. They need to hold up for 10 days, and everything should be good to go for the Giants game.

Just look at all the other teams who have lost significant players for the season already and you can see the Cowboys are OK. Whaley is the only guy I can think of and he probably would have been cut anyway or ended up on PS.

You're getting better. I would suggest listing estimated time frames to return to practice.

Truthfully this is one of our more healthy offseasons. This time last season we were worried about losing the undisputed leader of our defense and our QB was also quite hobbled. The season before last, we were missing one of our better passrushers (Spencer) and also our probowl DT (Ratliff) due to injuries and I'm sure our starting receiver (Austin) was hobbled somewhat. I want to say Witten was also very questionable and not healthy going into that season. As of right now, I don't see any starter that will miss that Giants game due to injuries.

Knock on wood.

I've had opposing fans try to throw the injury situation in my face as if it's relevant, so I definitely see why this article was written.
