I mean, it's bizarre that Bryant makes a big impact on the opening drive, then disappears for like 40 minutes. How is that possible?

It happens a lot with him.

He just has the audacity to not "win" running fly patterns 90 percent of the time. He just does not "execute", darn him.

Same reason why Marinelli's defense looks competent on it's initial drives.

They script the smart plays and then, well, they have nothing for the remainder and hope for the best.

And these offensive coaches that were all here in 2014 should all be canned. 411 yards of offense and 27 points are just not enough to win. They should have forced the ball to Dez last night for 60 minutes instead of throwing to a wide open Cole Beasley and getting 8 catches and 2 tds, interceptions be damned!

They should hire the next HC and OC from this forum. If Jerry's smart, that's would he should do.

It's garretts 1991 playbook. No imagination. No creativity. It shouldn't rest on rooms shoulders. The offense itself should get guys somewhat open.

And that 1991 playbook doesn't work so well in 2015 when there are more injuries, more roster turnover and only 14 padded practices a year. Jason Garrett needs to get with the times.

When I watch the Patriots play I get so envious of their coaching staff. In many ways (other than the cheating allegations) they remind me of Tom Landry's 60s and 70s teams. Garrett is the polar opposite.

Oh, I totally agree. Our offense doesn't "go through" Dez the way you'd expect, or the way you see the Falcons go through Julio, by comparison.

I'm actually surprised we have opened the last two games with slants to Dez in an attempt to get him going.

Watch what Atlanta did Week One got get Julio Jones matchup advantages.

I've complained about Garrett's offensive design for years. I absolutely believe wed'd be talking about Romo in the same breath as Tom Brady had he played in a Shanahan offense over his career.

While we're on the subject of Redball: I keep wondering what they think they're accomplishing by faking a jet sweep three or four times a game. I like the sweep action. I like it a lot. But it doesn't get you much if it's not built into play series.

I don't necessarily disagree with him, but a full season of Dez with Romo under center would probably be different.

It sure does look like that is exactly what is going on.

It will be productive because they are great players but we aren't putting our great players in the best situation possible.

Their stats will look great at the end of the season but when the game is on the line it's always better to have some well designed plays in your pocket instead of heaving it into heavy coverage and hoping Dez can make an incredible play.

Maybe we're Superbowl champs this year if we used a pick play to get the first down in Green Bay instead of heaving it up the sideline.

Don't worry. Once Romo comes back, everything gets fixed. Defense gets better. Defense tackles better. Secondary covers better. DL doesn't get blown off the ball by mediocre OLs.

Passing routes get better. Game plans get better. The weather gets better.

It just all falls into place once Romo gets back.

I award you, post of the day.
