Sounds like a very toxic relationship. He can't shake his girl. Thing is if you're old enough we've all been there with those feelings - but not to the extend he's going through them. It think it's the first time in life he isn't getting what he wanted on several fronts. If he makes it to 30 he's gonna look back and really regret his life

I hope he doesn't have a straw stuffed up his nose as we speak.

I know there's a Manziel thread in the other sub, but this one directly relates to Dallas, so I figured I'd post it here.

"The Dallas Cowboys have been linked to Johnny Manziel at a number of points in the former Heisman Trophy winner's NFL career, and were rumored to be a possible landing spot for Manziel as recently as this week.

But a high-ranking Cowboys source says that Dallas is out on Manziel after the latest reports involving the quarterback and domestic violence allegations...."

So all the, Jerry wants to bring him here for the publicity, crowd were wrong? He was never coming here

Well i dont know if he was ever coming here, but that quote does not indicate that he was never being considered. If anything, it indicates the opposite.

If true, i am relieved.

Hmmmm...not sure about that. Maybe he will regret missing out on playing in the NFL. But assuming he's in decent health at 30 and his family hasn't disowned him, he'll be ok. Actually better off than a lot of folks. But still, that does not excuse his recent behavior at all...

You know I really thought this latest incident sent his stock soaring in Dallas.

Jerry loves wife/girlfriend beaters, thieves, drug addicts, and alcoholics. This is very shocking to me.

I know, another Manziel thread.. but according to "multiple sources," no shot Johnny will be a Cowboy. Hopefully this ends all chatter of Johnny Clipboard coming to Dallas.

Of course we aren't. I'm going to say it's not likely he plays for any team next season. The kid is far to stupid for his own good.

I wished I could say I am surprised but I can't. Manziel has talent. He does have that it quality to him but if you watched him, even as far back as HS, you could kinda see there was something a little bit destructive in his personality.

I wish him well but I am glade that he will not be coming to Dallas. Truth be told, Professional Football is about the worst thing that can happen for him right now. He still has a lot of money and he comes from a well off family, with those things, he may never hit bottom until it's too late. I hope not but that my be the case here.

I can't stand Manziel and I don't care what happens to him. He's a rich spoiled brat who's never had to work for anything. He's always going to be able to pay someone off and ESPN will be able to keep him in the headlines. He's not Jerry's problem

Maybe Arena Football or Canadian Football gives him a call.

Young man is spinning completely out of control. The guy was literally on top of the sports world 3 years ago. And only 23....fortunately for him his family has the resources to get him all the help he needs, if he is willing

From all accounts it seems as though his is family is why he's the way he is in the first place.
