& I quote...

Uhhh. No question. Ezekiel Elliott from the Dallas Cowboys. I believe her was the best "player" (major emphasis on player by Jaws) in the draft at "any" (again major emphasis on any by Jaws) position.

Jaws also noted that he'll get on the field early in his career because of his incredible ability to block.

I saw that. My only hope is that Jason grows in the department of player management. Just because he is good and just because he was the #4 overall pick..that does not mean you work him like a mule. You want someone picked that high to be with you 7/8 years. So Alfred Morris should still be used. The way we used Murray his last year was a disaster on many levels...and culminated with us not being able to afford him. Zeke is a great young talent. And I hope he is here for as long time.

I have no problem with him being held back but at the same time we used a 4th overall pick on him. He needs to be out there the majority of the time. I'm not a fan of Alfred Morris at all. I like him the least of our running backs. Seems like a great guy but I never liked him even when he was a Commander. Not a fan of his running style or his ability to make people miss.

Let Morris and McFadden battle it out in training camp. I've been unfair in my criticism of McFadden. I'll admit that. He represents the reason why we chose to go RBBC and I just can't shake applying that stigma to him. That said, let him battle it out with Morris. May the best man win.

This is where I believe Morris will have the upper hand on McFadden. Short yardage. Zeke fills many of our other needs now at RB but when he needs a breather and you need to move the chains who you gonna call? My bets are on Morris.

Morris is made for this Oline he should thrive. I see Mcfadden with his large contract being the sacrifice. Remember it is doubtful that Dunbar is back at full strength early in the season if at all. I think McFadden gets a bonus after the first game.

With where he was drafted, Zeke had better be taking at least 75-80% of the run snaps.

This.....Elliott is the starting running back of the Dallas Cowboys. Make no mistake. At 26 million guaranteed. He's starting.

It's hard to believe there seems to be people who don't get he's immediately the starter. When you're an offensive player drafted at #4, you are immediately a starter and one of the faces of the franchise. There's no dicking around at that draft spot.

There's people that actually believe he isn't the starter? Lol

Assuming Elliot quickly picks up the blocking assignments, he will get the majority of the plays. Based on the last 2 years it appears Linehan prefers the starter carrying the load with the backups getting limited reps.

LOL only person Elliot is competing against is himself. Meaning how quickly he can pickup the playbook which I'm sure he will do in short order.

Are we trusting Jason Garrett to be football smart?

From everything I've read about him, he's a student of the game. Much like Romo. He will pick up the playbook no problem. Isn't there only like 5 plays anyway?
