I never was as down on Claiborne as the rest of the forum. True, I didn't like us giving up a second round pick to get him. But, he was never really healthy until this year. I felt once he healed and got a little bit of experience, he would be a good corner. I don't know if he'll be one of the best players of that draft or even one of the better corners. But I think he has a chance to be really good.

I think Claiborne play has been due to the fact he has stayed healthy and had a training camp and preseason. I have no problems with resigning him if he continues his great play. Has been best player on defense so far this year.


Glad the defense made plays in both games so far. Our DBs have an interception in both games none bigger then church in the endzone. We have also had multiple sacks in both games. Tyrone Crawford is starting to get in rhythm at LE, although it wasn't until the 4th quarter when he made plays.....but it was the perfect time.

Defense needs work for sure, mainly front 7 but they haven't been as terrible as some believe.

Mo has been ballin' so far this year. EVERY CB gets beat but it's a lot less often for Mo, so far. Proud of the kid to this point.

Claiborne was great in coverage what are you talking about. It's easy to say will Garcon could have caught it but that's speculation......Garcon didn't catch it and it was turnover in downs

The defense will also get a lot better when they get DLaw and maybe Gregory back. Crawford's getting attacked a lot by everyone but he's the only player we have on that line, put some players around him and we should start to look a lot better

Unfortunately, no corner has the speed to cover a wide receiver who has open field to the right or left of him. You're being a bit realistic, IMO.
