A 3rd and 8 running play. Something we will never,meter see in Dallas while Garrett is here. The Texans are playing conservatively against an inexperienced quarterback. Not risking a turnover and giving anything easy to a team obviously undermanned.

I call it knowing your opponent. And your situation. Brissett may or may not be able to take his team the length of the field, no sense in making it shorter for him.

And Osweiler isn't too experienced himself.

What bothers me more is that our team wouldn't run the ball if it was 3rd and 2.

How's that working out for them?

That was clearly a fumble, he was nowhere near being down.

To be fair I don't think anyone really think's JG is a genius anymore...methodical, mechanical, consistent, intransigent....but not genius. But I hear you....

This is what happens when you dont have a decent QB or high octane offense even with a good defense , you cant climb out of holes , just like Seattle is finding out.

I think NYG spent good money to get a good D , they always had a decent O, except the OL
