Twitter: Ron Leary projected price range

You realize the Collins & Leary are a wash......

I'm sorry but, you must not watch much tape. Leary is much better run blocking and pass blocking at this point in time.
Everyone thinks Collins ceiling is higher but, I haven't see much evidence of that. Yes, Collins second level blocking (
pancake blocks) fills the video libraries but, play in and play out Leary can open those holes in the run game.

I can assure you that watching O-Line tape is my priority....if you wish to continue, PLEASE post multiple plays where Collins & Leary differ greatly.

I bet whatever you wish.....it's a WASH

Hellooooo 4th round comp.

I'm disappointed Ron wasn't tagged. He's worth at least that much and gives us another year to resolve other financial issues before making a permanent decision on him. Maintaining the O-line was never going to be cheap so it just baffles me why money is going to be the issue that prevents Ron from remaining a Cowboy. The quality of the front five will be depleted if the FO continues this nickel and dime pettiness.
We are nickel and diming at the O Line? LOLOLOL

Tag your #6 OL? not so much...Leary has earned his payday, and isn't likely to see the name of "Jones" on his bi-weekly checks...would LOVE to see him stay, there is close to 0% chance of that happening

Everyone (well anyone who knows how the salary cap works) knew that Leary was a goner with Zack Martin's monster contract looming.

I remember the rumors of trading him before last season......Glad that never happened. Probably would've received the same compensation as the comp pick or lower, as well as no quality guard play when Collins went down.

Why are you asking a question that I've already answered. We can disagree but stop being repetitive with your discourse. It's a non productive exercise I will not participate in.
Your entire argument is counter productive. You can sign him for 8-9 million per year and the team is "cash strapped". Your answer to give them financial relief is pay a Guard 2 years worth of his guaranteed money in one year? That makes absolutely zero sense. For 8 million more guaranteed, you can sign him to a 5 year deal. It makes no sense whatsoever to franchise a guy for twice what he will get in AAV.

And for the record, we've never had this conversation so check you history.

Repetitive gobbledygook. As I have already said, we can disagree.

Its too much to pay the offensive line collectively. Besides we have Collins ready to step in who is a more cost effective option. Regardless who you put there they are surrounded by all pros on each side which is likely to elevate their play.

I just hope Collins can stay healthy. High quality line reinforcements from the draft would be appreciated too.

Cooper could be an option as a backup. Besides that we found Leary as an undrafted free agent, I'm sure there are some quality options in the draft.
