MILWAUKEE, WI (WISN/CNN) - A woman ate her way to a new record at a Milwaukee, WI, steakhouse.
Before Molly Schuyler left the table at Ward's House of Prime, she had eaten 22.5 pounds of prime rib.
Afterward, how did she feel? "Very sluggish and tired," said Schuyler, who travels the country as a competitive eater. "Very tired."
She said she can eat well over 20 pounds. She accepted an invitation from Ward's, which has an honor roll of people who have eaten large amounts of prime rib in a single sitting. Her record, set Monday night, puts them all to shame. Owner Brian Ward says she nearly doubled the previous record of 11.5 pounds set by a woman who hosts a Japanese tv food show.
"It's mind-boggling how much she was able to eat," Ward said. Schuyler's portrait will now go onto the wall and my be there for a while. will anyone ever break that record? "I will," she said.
